Maidana seems like he is actually the type of fighter to do what he actually says. Rush in with no regard for safety to get to Mayweather. And that's why this seems more interested than any of the other fights.
I do agree that I think Maidana gives it his all even if he is ineffective. He is mu ch more naturally agressive than Guerrero or Canelo. Mayweather will be cautious for all 12 rounds (like he was vs Canelo - that was due to his size) because although Maidana can be hurt he is often more dangerous when you do hurt him.

It's a big set up right now. Floyd beats maidanna.. Floyd fights Cotto next with Broner and Maidana on the undercard at the Barclay Center as he gives Khan a chance to prove himself and get at least 3 good fights in him to talk shyt to Floyd about ducking him. Then Floyd will choose probably Khan as his next opponent and Garcia as his last opponent unless he can get Pacman. We are watching a legend at the end of career. Enjoy it while he still got 3 more in him regardless of who he's fighting right now. He's done it all except Pac. fukk Bob for that.:salute: the legend.

:wow:
This could actually be feasible except the Khan part. His bytching probably talked him out a fight forever

How was Khan bytching though?? Because Floyd was on that hoe shi and he spoke out on it??
This is business breh. It's one thing to lobby for your chance at a amazing payday....a whole 'nother to write 2, 3 emails explaining the whole behind the scenes discussions. He was put in the running and put all his eggs in one basket and lost and cried about it and then defined his crying. He too could have fought Alexander and earned his payday too, he chose to blow him off. Ironically, Alexander was rumored to be a Floyd candidate and didn't get chosen and we heard nothing about it. Khan needs to man up...

Like you said, it's a business breh. If Khan takes at least two to three good fights and wins impressively, Floyd will fight him regardless of the shyt he talked. Hatton was a perfect example. If it makes money, it will make sense.

Where is the draw in Khan minus his shyt talking? Khan does not have the following nor intrigue that Hatton had

They are going to have come clean with more than just Mathysse/Thurman on that undercard though because I don't give half a damn about Floyd and Maidana.

The only thing is he is running out of time, he has to win 2 - 3 more fights convincingly by next Sept, if Floyd really retires then. I just don't see that happening, breh..

Khan doesn't need to anything more than win one fight and look good doing it. This 2-3 fights stuff is nonsense. Boxing is a "what have you done for me lately?" business and Khan shining in a win against someone who isn't a bum would immediately put him back into the Floyd Sweepstakes.

mayweather wasnt cautious ALL 12 rounds against canelo...it was multiple times where he walked canelo down and had canelo fighting off his back foot

True, but I look at it in Mayweather mastered how to be effective while moving forward. What he wasn't going to do was let Canelo dictate the action and get in rhythm. His defensive style vs Cotto would have been disastrous vs Canelo. Also, I think Mayweather cautiously decides what punches he throws to protect his hands. Versus Guerrero he realized it was easy money after the first couple of rounds and let his right hand go at will, knowing that even if he hurt it Guerrero couldn't beat him. Against Canelo, Mayweather had plenty of opportunities to land significant power shots, but I think he knowingly didn't throw them to protect his hands. Mayweather admitted that Canelo's punches landing to the sides of his arms hurt...if Mayweather hurt his hand midway through the fight, Mayweather isn't big enough to keep Canelo off of him and would have been running. Instead he chose effective aggressiveness - moving Canelo around the ring, landing clean shots, not throwing aggressive power shots, and played defense to not take power shots to any part of his body.
My opinion of what happened.

If Khan wins two fights impressively, who else would Floyd fight that would bring money besides Cotto, Garcia, or Pac? Did i not say let him win at least 2 fights impressively to draw the fight?
