So is it considered a flop? It’s currently sitting at 110 domestic and 330mil worldwide. And it’s fading pretty fast, probably hit 140 domestic. It’s yet to open in the biggest market china, which will probably bring in 100-150 mil. So if it closes out around 500 million. That’s gotta be a flop considering the franchise usually brings in about a billion.

Spinoffs almost NEVER do as well as the Main Franchise so i’d consider a $500 Millie worldwide gross a W. Especially since NONE of the OG cast were involved and it was connected to the main FF universe in name alone.

they’ll probably get a sequel if The Rock really wants it. The new “crew” of Kevin Hart, Rock, Stratham, and Ryan Reynolds on paper is a marketing wet dream.

The first 20 min of this shyt is terrible. Like BAD bad.

It's like a generic action movie with horrible attempts at comedy thrown in.

The one scene the Rock in the phone with his daughter while the ladies fighting in the background, and the music is just cheesey as fux.

Some cool action here and there but Meh overall

it was disgusting man...why is ryan reynolds character sharing government information and handing a 9 y/o files for fukking cheap ass comic relief??? the first chase scene w/ elba chasing down the rock...statham and his sister was dope...and a few action scenes after that...elba was good in this movie but that’s about it...my expectations were tempered and still this movie managed to be a large disappointment

God damn, the comedy was horrendous.

Of course they have the rock looking all macho again.

The chase they had in the facility with the atv or buggi.. nah man.

All this shot was too over the top

I do like how they disabled the electronic weaponry to even the sides in Samoa .

Awful movie. The rock just doesn’t work unless he had an ensemble cast or strong co star. Straham isn’t it. This was like some bad face off/ bad boys fan flick. Characters suck, the combat was bland, the dialogue/comedy was painful. The third act was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. From the samoan crap to how utterly trash elba character wasZ I know not to expect much from these flicks but at least the main series is enjoyable. This was all around trash. I hope they don’t make a sequel

I watched this movie and I really liked it. I hope they make a sequel. To all the people calling this bad all the movies in this series are pretty bad but still enjoyable. This one was as well. The female lead was pretty hot.

The people that call this movie “bad” are either movie snobs or fake movie snobs that try to act like they above everyone
