He had a scene in 7 when Dom went to Tokyo to bring Han's body back. You'd think they could have used him to fill the white boy gap Paul Walker left behind but they were quick to push Scott Eastwood into that gap instead.

That was one of the most ridiculously over-the-top movies I’ve ever seen... and it was glorious. Exactly what I needed.

I wish they had more Idris scenes though. His character has an interesting backstory.

I liked the movie.

Idris looks great on screen as the human / cyborg.

Dope summer action flick

They didn’t reinvent the wheel but it was good fukkkery

I was hating at first but it was a good movie. Sorry Tyrese Still fukk with the main cast though. This didn’t feel like a Fast & Furious movie though. It felt like a typical action/espionage movie. Like if James Bond and Marvel had a baby. Likely due to the superhuman/meta human element. The Samoa scenes were very well done. That fukking place is beautiful. I never would’ve left.

This was lit af. The nonstop fukkery and meaningless action from the jump. The last 30/40 mins or so was emotional and action packed. Jason Statham sister was a sexy white woman. Idris Elba was badass. The script was like a 15 year old who was high of Red Bull wrote it.

Definitely was worth seeing in theaters 8/10.

If Helen Miren was ten years younger she could get the dikk too but out of respect I couldn’t disrespect her like that now but she a good looking old lady.

So is it considered a flop? It’s currently sitting at 110 domestic and 330mil worldwide. And it’s fading pretty fast, probably hit 140 domestic. It’s yet to open in the biggest market china, which will probably bring in 100-150 mil. So if it closes out around 500 million. That’s gotta be a flop considering the franchise usually brings in about a billion.

it's probably going to do well but not make enough for a sequel to make financial sense.
