Putting that type of person in a situation where they’re confronted with the reality that they are replaceable and not as important as they think, is potentially really interesting. While also looping back to a theme from casino royale when M told him he’s replaceable and he’s not end all be all.
Potentially, you get to dig into a lot of his psyche and character motivation. It’s a storytelling device meant to put him in a situation he’s never ever ever been in before. And I can’t wait to see it
