he sold more because he released more dead than alive. i'm not the biggest Pac fan on here but you can't say he didn't dominate the industry. there were a lot of big names and stars back then and even with the likes of Biggie, Wu-Tang, Snoop, Bone Thugs, Ice Cube was still going into the mid 90s, Nas selling millions and many others with little runs like Coolio, 2Pac was THE biggest and most loved rapper IN THE WORLD.

i don't know how you can deny that statement that he dominated the industry, whether the majority of it came after his death or not

Whoever thought Pac didn't dominate (albeit for a short while) is either young as hell or just plain dumb. Pac was all over MTV and BEt hell he was even on Saturday Night Live. From 94-96 his run can compete with anyones best three years. He had number one albums number one singles movies dropping and everything. Sure the shooting helped (as ironic as that sounds but Pac was on the news way before then with the cop shooting and the kids who shot a cop after listening to Tupac. Had a lot of politicians gunning for his ass. And this was before the days of rappers releasing videos on the net and giving away mixtapes for free and whatnot.

Even is he previously released material sold more in death. Same with Biggie

Biggie's career in Death was about the same, you can even say greater as he got a diamond plaque for LAD. But unlike Pac Biggie didn't have a substantial amount of unreleased music to be fed to the public, nor a money hungry mother.

I wouldn't say greater,It went diamond as a double disc....pac did that with AEOM the most stolen album of all time and the greatest hits album....but id agree they on the same playin field but they still looked at as goats by they peers and many fans...compare that to Big L and Pun....my nikka Stack Bundles hardly gets recognition...death don't push you into sum crazy untouchable stratosphere for 15 years.....the fairwhethers came and went for both Biggie and Pac...if dudes is still sayin it 15 yrs after the fact can't we assume they really mean it yet lol...how u accuse people of bein "of the moment dikkriders" for 15 yrs:wtb: not u neccesarily. But dudes who act like people only fuk wit pac cuz he died

Death pushed those two into the tsratusphere and 2Pac to a mythological figure. Nobody cared about Stack Bundles, Big L, Freaky tah etc. when they were alive, the fukk they care when they die? Also the media couldn;t create no headlines for those guys. 2Pac and Biggie's deaths ruled the airwaves. Much like the Death of Michael Jackson & Princesss Di.
