He hasn't been as disciplined as he has in his prime PLUS a slight fall off was inevitable. He was playing all time levels for at least 5 seasons? Eventually he was going to come down slightly from where he was especially considering he lost Tyreek and Kelce got older.

He's still a threat to come through in any situation, but I feel like if this happens 4 years ago Bieniemy is chewing his ass out.
He's basically 1970 Muhammad Ali....after the 3 1/2 year layoff.

Bills - great win.....psychologically, they needed to prove to themselves that they could beat KC. If there was ever a year to get past Mahomes, it's THIS year.

Chiefs - the loss will help them refocus. The defense has been carrying them but Pacheco will be back soon. Him + Hunt could give just enough of a boost to the offense. They remind me of Philly last year (lots of luck early) and the '94 Cowboys (going for a 3-peat). Still among the best but they seem more beatable.

NFC West - Arizona is in the drivers seat. Do we trust them to hold off the Niners, Rams and Seahawks? Stay tuned.

NFC East - Philly probably got this but if any team was capable of having a meltdown, it's them.

Ravens - they're so close but they gotta exercise the demons (Steelers, Chiefs etc) before taking the final step. They struggle with teams that know them well

Lions - they are on a mission. Part of me feels like they're peaking a little too early....but there's no one in the NFC they should be scared of. I think being so close last year got them realizing they probably SHOULD have represented the NFC in the SB. I don't think they were good enough to beat KC last year (in the SB, I know they won the season opener against them).....but they can/should beat anyone coming out the AFC this season.

Chargers - playoff team but a big ??? beyond that. Can they win games that matter...is the question.

Jets - dumpster fire

Bears - they're better now than they've been in awhile but it's going to take some coaching changes before they can really max out CW's potential. Feel like Minny/Chi/GB are all looking up at Detroit and realize a lot of work needs to still be done.

NFC South - poor division but I wouldn't be shocked if the winner caught someone napping early in the playoffs. Outside of the Lions, every other potential playoff team could "get got" by some random azz Bijan/Kirk/London breakout game.

Pats - Maye has crazy potential but the Pats FO might screw him over by being so cheap to get him some legit help
Bengals - Burrow going crazy for nothing
Chiefs - Suspect but everything they do in the regular season means nothing to me
Ravens - Lamar didn't have a good game for his standards and it's ok to give him some constructive criticism
Bears - Bad News Bears
Lions - Best Team in the NFL / Ben Johnson is getting paid next season
Chargers - Darkhorse / Why didn't Da Bears go after Harbaugh????

The Pittsburgh Steelers are what the Atlanta Falcons should have been.
The funny thing is, Arthur Smith is connected to both teams.

For Pittsburgh, their margin of error is tiny. The way they won yesterday against the Ravens is how they're going to have to win in the playoffs -- tough defense and a little bit of luck (Justin Tucker missing 2 field goals).

For Atlanta, their offense has to get on track because their defense isn't as good as they were expected to be. It's hard to understand how a team with Kyle Pitts, Drake London and Bijan Robinson is just middle-of-the-pack in scoring. On paper....

I suppose Bo Nix is raising the most eyebrows as a rookie, but Drake Maye has been pretty dang solid...and he's got even fewer weapons to throw to than Bo Nix does. I wasn't a believer in either one coming into the league but this is something to monitor now.

Edit -- not that Bo Nix is the best rookie or anything. I just think he was largely overlooked as the season kicked off with everyone focused on Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr.
I watched Bo Nix yesterday and he is up there with Jayden Daniels for best rookie QB. Goes through his progressions, makes good reads and is accurate as fukk, with some mobility too. Dude is good, I'm sold.
