Because not voting for Trump is a vote for Kamala. If millions don't vote for Trump then it makes it easier for Kamala's amount of votes to be enough to win.

Always remember, if you don't vote for Trump, then you're voting for Kamala.
This ignores trends. Trump just assaulted Civil Rights. This was enacted in 1964. What followed?

A realignment in voting patterns and the implementation of the 'Southern Strategy' first used by Barry Goldwater and then Nixon. People center and left are asking to be sold things to them that may or may not be delivered due to Democrats being inherently big tent. Republicans vote for their ideological survival if ALL ELSE is equal.

They were going to vote for Trump almost as easily as breathing because above all else, Democrats have been made to be an affront to their way of life. Minorities, secularism and/or satanism, hedonism, black people, sexual deviancy, etc. Republicans sit on religious institutions to get out votes for them that actually policy won't. It's bred into them. Add in their electoral advantages and yes the fukk it is a vote for Trump to not vote.

Democrats, and this is a good thing, are asked for things. They deliver them to various degrees of success, but also get blamed when their failings are due to Republicans. Republicans don't have to deal with that same scrutiny from their Evangelical and religious base, which is how Trump can be open about wanting Gaza leveled but he gets voted in as an anti-war candidate. Democrats have been tossed from races for calling a woman out of her name or being accused of sending text messages with nudes (Anthony Weiner.) Republicans can deny, deny, deny and if caught, hold a press conference flanked by sad looking people and a pastor and they skate right on by. So if someone did not want to vote, that is their prerogative, but with Republican election interference (russian bomb threats in Democratic areas), closing poling places in minority areas, and general fukkery, they have an advantage that requires strong turnouts to overcome.

Why do they have these advantages? The electorate works in waves. Even if it's undone, Republicans are gifted another term and put that shyt back, sometimes stronger.

this and the fact that there are a lot of new voters in the pool now, a new generation of idiots that rely on social media, influencers and AI to help them make life decisions.
That's why we need more young politicians that understands that. A big problem with Democrats is that the old guard are stubborn and don't want the younger politicians to gain power definitely if they don't fit their moderate archetype on what a Democrat should be

It's a normal human reaction. Hard to vote for someone who's cosigning a genocide. I was really close to bowing out too, I probably won't have voted for Biden regardless.

This is what Democratic leadership can't accept. They're still running the Clintonista 90s game plan "we can shift as far to the right as we want and still win, where else are they going to go?" and never realizing that not voting is always on the ballot

So 29% of dems dont realize israel/America are the same side huh?

Shows most dems live in fantasy world where everyone is friends and equality can be dealt out by the govt. same fantasy world the magas for trump live in, but they would never not vote for their side over an issue like this.

quoting this tweet, :yeshrug:

"Anyone who sits out an election because of that is someone who we will never appease and if we did, we’d lose either way. They don’t know how to think two steps ahead. They made it worse for the people of Gaza"
Sounds like a winning political strategy. Remind me of how that worked out in November :troll:

No see, you gotta understand, not voting for Trump is the same thing as voting for Harris. If millions don't vote for Trump then it makes it easier for Kamala's amount of votes to be enough to win. So as long as that 29% didn't vote for Trump, they voted for Harris.

That's why Democrats didn't listen to their voting populations that they needed to win the election and took various stances that put them in conflict with the base they claim to represent. As long as you aren't voting for Trump, you are voting for Harris.

See the real issue is, there weren't enough not votes for Trump. If Trump only got 6 more million not votes, Harris would have won.

As someone who voted for her, she fukked up trying to reach across the isle basically cementing she wasn't going to be any different than biden
