I could understand expecting bigger ideas from Nas and Kanye but I still feel like it was a solid 3.5 out of 5. If it coulda been maybe 4 songs longer, had a Pusha T and a Ross feature...the general overview would be different

More time? They had virtually no time apparently. A weekend, after which Mike Dean half ass mixed everything wrong until the very last minute which threw the DSPs off. I watched that Kanye clip and it doesn’t make sense. He wanted to make a Nas album for years, he revered Nas...so he gave him three days of his time, gave him slow ass trap drums and then let Mike Dean take a dump on what was left?

Everything is lyrically superior to anything on Kings Disease save The Cure. So is Adam and Eve.

The intro to everything is torture to sit through. Hook is bad too. Felt like a Kanye and dream track leftover and aye thought “hey let’s try giving this to Nas”. Just not good imo
