Everything is literally a modern Kanye album song, given to Nas. I love Simple Things but that sounds straight from Kanye’s album. Bonjour sounds like a Kanye song.

and searched the internet to see what other nas fans were into and flipped/bit that

For me I was expecting a tape full of Still Dreamings

Lyrically it was fine, production-wise it was really the one misstep for me (on a 7 track album, the worst track needs to be listenable at least). I was good with the Slick Rick sample.....it could have been a banger if it was flipped differently.

Given the albums that came after this, it sounds even worse. 5/10 album, easily his worst since late 90s.

Edit: Forgot about QB's Finest, that was 5/10 too. Probably a bit better than this though.

I actually don’t mind the album. It has some highlights Adam and eve, Bonjour, everything. In comparison to the other albums I’ll agree

Yeah I enjoy that song, Bonjour and Adam and Eve. Everything else is debatable, but there’s been worse. 3/5

I remember hearing Everything in a lot of TV shows, background music for sports/games broadcasts. I could have sworn I heard that one song a lot of places.
