NARUTO might be a better show than DBZ

Kishi was terrible at a planning. Part 2 is a complete different show than part 1. Kishi should have toned down the power levels and made Naruto a random orphan

Naruto was ruined when the theme of the series was turned upside its head and Neji's philosphy was proven right after all. Naruto should've stayed some random kid and not a descendant of ninja royalty

Also as the series wore on the use of training and skill evaporated in favor of powerups on the fly. Watch the Zubuza arc and then something in Shippuden and it's like you're watching a different show

Rock Lee was the realest character in the whole show. He was the only one who truly had to grind in order to become great. Consequently that's why he became an afterthought

I loved Naruto but the only problem I had with it was later on when they revealed he was the 4ths son. You mean to tell me nobody blurted that piece of information to him before that? It wasn't even his fault the fox was in him but supposedly the whole village hated him because of it? They hated the 4th hokages first born son?? I'm sure the 4th had property or some shyt, why Naruto basically didn't have shyt? They had this nikka living by himself living off ramen and spoiled milk

To make this somewhat fair, we could put up Naruto's best arc against DBZ's best arc and DBZ would still win.

Incorrect pain arc or kazekage rescue arc or chinin exams arc all shyt on any dbz arc.

Funny enough despite its goofiness One Piece is one of the most mature shonen ever (HunterxHunter is there too).

It took me a while but now I feel like its character designs are one of the its best attributes. It's always over the top tho (sometimes to its detriment IMO). Its something you learn to love or keep hating. Don't blame people for not getting too into it because of its art but there are amazing looking moments, to me anyway:

One Piece "goofiness" and cartoonish/comical influenced style is what makes it unique,

It also allows it to be more diverse in terms of making new worlds, settings and characters

which is why OP is more diverse than Naruto, DB, and Bleach and can become all sorts of things from Kabuki, Samurais and ninjas(Wano) to zombies(Thriller bark) to angels(Skypiea) etc

and allows us to see scenarios u wouldnt see anywhere else. like the series rn has a situation where Luffy is in a

Pirate - Minks(talking humanoid animals, who can transform under a full moon like Saiyans) - Samurai- Ninja alliance that sounds crazy and something. You wouldnt see in any other if not most series

but in OP its possible and other crazy situations u wouldnt expect

it allows Oda to be expendable in all sorts of ways in terms of story, physics/rules of world, etc

The show literally became "When does Goku get here...?"

Tons of non-Naruto characters got shine in his show and were able to flex and you did'nt even miss Naruto during those times

Guy, Kakashi, Rock Lee, Sasuke, Shikamaru...hell even Sakura single thot mom ass got some burn

The only thing close to an emotional moment in DBZ was when Krillin died

Jiraya taking on Pain for dolo and doing his job as a ninja to warn his village even in DEATH is better than most shyt in DBZ.

Itachi having to murder his whole family except his brother...Neji having to deal with that caste system of his clan...Rock Lee not being able to perform jutsus yet still being able to wash everyone except maybe Naruto....Kakashi growth from child to man...Gaara's growth as a character from weapon to Kage of his village...

Hell only Vegeta and his growth as a character is seeing that.

From the moment DBZ started...Yamucha, Tien, Krillin, even Piccolo became pointless side character appetizers to the moment when Goku shows up finally.

Thread is stupid. Naruto is one of my favorites but threads like these just force you to expose how trash DBZ really is underneath it all, and then flip it like "Well Naruto is'nt the GOAT...nyah"

And Super is an overrated cash grab. I know it, you know it. Stop playing yourselves.

They devalued the fukk out of SSJ just to erase the garbage that was GT from our memories, and cash out on the fame that DBZ carved out.

Narutos WW popular peak was during mid to late 00s and has since decreased. And sunken into either irrelevence or lost it's "dominance" as no. 1 most popular.
