You are misinterpreting what I am saying. The most popular rap is murder/death rap and so that is the dominant culture in rap. You brought up backpacker rap as if that is what rap is all about is 2022 and what is consistently on the radio or in the news. Raps initial culture may have been more progressive and thoughtful but as it stands now, the culture is mostly glorifying recklessness
