There hasn't been a reboot of the series yet...even the new one they are making is still gonna be a sequel

The dancing scene and the extreme campiness is pure raimi. Thats pretty much his signature style.

Which is why I've never had a problem with those scenes.. Raimi put his own style in to the third movie and he deserved the freedom to do so after making the last two spidey flicks great and bringing in massive amounts of cash.

dispicable me 2....the first was classic, the second was a clusterfukk, poor storyline, not funny, pure money grab

It seems like they didn't expect the Minions to become popular like they did so they gave an overdose of them in the second movie... and we getting that Minions spinoff movie.
