black males are fed into the school to prison pipeline. Black males and females grow up in the same houses, schools, neighborhoods, etc..one group is severely targeted.
This is in no way saying those sisters aren't earning it. They are doing a great job of getting their educations and succeeding in life. Salute to them.

Yeah iirc there were more black Male medical students in the 70s than there are today. That's sad as hell. 
But I can see why that is b/c becoming an md/do is a slow and tough grind. Women can get away with being broke for a few years but men need that $$$$ asap. Esp black men or any other man that does not have wealthy parents

There are wayyy more black female doctors than male doctors, it's not even close. What's the story behind this gap
. Especially given the fact that medicine is such an important profession. This needs to change. Women are getting more degrees than men nowadays too (not just in liberal arts degree, either)

I didn't know that was the percentage. I know some black doctors. Not sure if there are more black female doctors in certain cities/regions. Everywhere I've been, there are more black male doctors than black female doctors.

this same issue has been cause for debate that there needs to be more men working as teachers because inherently the school system is catered to girls because majority of the teachers and admin are women. Women regardless of how many intro to xyz behavior will never fully understand the dynamics of a young boy throughout various stages of their life. It is important for men to be in the class, what is troublesome to a female teacher can be understood and corrected by a male teacher.
