Y'all going to make people start pulling receipts from them acquisition threads where you all were trying to convince yourselves that nothing else matters but the multi-billion dollar acquisitions and Game Pass.

Its really only meach and titan, the rest of them just panic dapping in the cut.:mjlol:

Sony cancels projects every generation, xbox is still in dire straights as a hardware Brand and they have been for about 10 years
Sony consoles and single player games are such a smashing success.

Their CEO sounding like phil spencer

Follow in the footsteps of the company in “dire straights” brehs

:wow:

"[The future of gaming] will be ubiquitous. Wherever there is computing, users will be able to play their favorite games seamlessly," Yoshida-san continued, "while PlayStation will remain our core product, we will expand our gaming experiences to PC, mobile, and cloud."

This is what Sonys CEO said.

Meaning PlayStation will be the focus with other side projects supplementing the brand.

The narrative I see being spun is that they're moving away from console, when clearly that wasn't being said.

Microsoft says literally the SAME thing.

Yet one is supposedly trying to set the narrative cause they are losing.

Make it make sense :ohhh:

Microsoft made major moves to devalue Xbox. Games launching day and date on both PC and console. Sony is slowly inching it's way there and it is a major mistake.

I believe that Sony is making the wrong moves in following Microsoft into PC land. And it'll cost them big. But then again they are trying to reach the Eastern market (China, South Korea) where PC is default platform.

Consoles will just be portables and cloud apps on TVs and phones in a few years.

Sony’s most successful game EVER launched day and date on PC

Sony’s upcoming Biggest game they will release in a long time is launching day and date on switch.

Xbox big game has a 4-6 month exclusive window to xbox consoles.

So who’s moving slowly again??? :patrice:

Console warrior thinking is 2005 shyt.

In 2024 it’s only a few of you stan’s holding on :old:

In reality the entire industry is off that. People don’t buy hardware based off exclusive games anymore.

At some point, some of you are gonna have to come to terms with that reality :manny:

watching xthots trot out that playstation is multiplatform is funny, they’ve been talking about ‘being everywhere’ since 2013.

The Console Is (Not Quite) Dead! The Future Of Gaming Is Now(Ish ...

The main point of contention with that is they aren’t actively pushing to devalue their consoles in the same way. The games are still timed exclusive, devices like the portal and PSVR2 can only be played through the ps5,etc.
