The Colts have beaten more playoff teams than the Redskins.

That SOUNDS nice when you phrase it that way... but the Colts played 5 playoff teams and the Redskins only played 4.

The Colts went 3-2 vs playoff teams and the Redskins went 2-2.

The Colts opponent winning percentage was .441
The Redskins opponent winning percentage was .492

So using this data you were so nice to provide who played better against playoff teams?

Well it's a wash.. the Colts played 1 more playoff team and won.. who's to say whether or not the Redskins couldn't have done the same.

I forgot to mention that the Colts were outscored by their opponents this year by 30 points even with that .441 winning percentage schedule. AND you can't blame that on the Colts D because the Redskins D and the Colts D were almost identical in PPG allowed - the colts D was actually a hair better they allowed 24.2 per game to the Redskins 24.3 per game. However, the Redskins offense averaged 27.3 PPG on offense to the Colts 22.3

Honestly, there's not a single statistical argument you can make that supports Luck over RGIII unless you want to argue metaphysical points.

No it's not a wash though, The colts have beaten more playoff teams and have a better winning percentage against them.

I'm not asking for explanations breh, just like y'all don't read explanations why Luck has more INT's or a lower completion % than RG3. Just looking at the facts

So you're really going to tell me that going 3-2 vs 2-2 is really that significant? Yes it is factually true that they beat more playoff teams.. but ... big deal... they played more

The Colts also beat more crappy teams

First off...I can't argue against any of the Qb's winning rookie of the year, but how some a yall down luck is baffling.

What's also baffling is how yall conveniently use stats as gospel as if they tell the entire story.

I keep hearing Romo is a terrible QB and should be dumped. Yet he has a top 10 QB Rating this year. Alex Smith has a top 5 rating, better TD/INT% than many of yall fave QB's and top 3 Comp% but yall would not even put him in your top 10.

Just saying, context is everything. All 3 QB's are good, there's no need to downplay one to prop up another...but that happens a lot here.

Well, I've actually gone on record saying the NFL should figure out some way to give it to all 3 of them. They've done CO-MVP before and I would actually be completely fine with all 3 of them sharing it. However, IF they were only going to give it to ONE.. I think it has to go to RGIII. And as a Redskin fan, if the Colts had taken RGIII and we got Luck, I wouldn't be mad one bit.

Honestly my response was to the tired :duck: redskins fans keep saying "the colts schedule is much weaker so their better record doesn't count" when they beat more playoff teams and played in a tougher division than the skins this year going by how the teams finished.

I have no issue with it going to RG3.

played in a tougher division than the skins this year going by how the teams finished.

The other 3 teams in the Colts division had a winning percentage of .417
The other 3 teams in the Redskins division had a winning percentage of .438

Essentially the Colts had 2 really tough games (Houston 2X)
and 4 easy games vs the jags and titans

the Redskins had 4 fairly tough games vs the giants and cowboys
and 2 easy games vs the eagles

There were only 3 divisions that had at least 3 teams finish .500 or better

NFC EAST
NFC North (hardest division)
AFC North

My only response to this is why are you using teams that didn't even make the playoffs to argue the redskins was tougher :mindblown:

The Colts only had 2 tough games? :rudy:

And they were both the Texans games? :usure:

So there games against the Patriots, and Green Bay weren't "tough" matchups? :why:

It's obvious you're trolling breh so good'day :troll:

Yeah I was just referring to divisional games...I'm saying overall the Colts division wasn't tougher. If anything they were about the same.

I think Russell Wilson should win it, but Luck will be the best QB out of all these so I don't kind him winning it

Why do you think this when RG3 and Wilson are better than Luck this year and they were better than him last year
