Why would Cuban have any blame unless he has as the one who recommended this move.
The only blame here goes to the new owners and the GM. If the owners were the driving force behind this, then the GM should have convinced them it made no sense from a basketball perspective and marketing perspective. If the GM was the mastermind then the owners should have nixed the idea at the very beginning.
