bro, the last game that got me was one I rented at Blockbuster.

Magic Johnson Super Slam Dunk. Me and my potnahs walked to the Blockbuster, saw the back cover, and thought that shyt would be flames on some :gladbron:

Get back to the crib, and we pop the shyt in the SNES.....the music comes on and we hit the :dahell: because the shyt sounds like fukkin Porno Music. Knew it would be cheeks (no pun intended) once we started playing. And yeah it was. :snoop:

Those aren’t the “only” games that matter.

But at $70 a pop you only need a few of them to justify a year of gamepass. Or if it’s something you know you won’t spend a lot of time on like GOW you can subscribe for a month or two and still save $.

In your last post you just said you limit yourself to only games you know you are gonna like. Gamepass is also a low cost way to try games you aren’t sure about.

This year i’ve personally seen you comment on lots of games you’ve played that are on gamepass. Despite that you still the first to run in with the empty arguments against gamepass every chance you get.

Shame :smh:
I have gamepass....RARELY ever use it to justify the re-up when the time comes.
Ya'll will buy gamepass, and STILL pay for those $70 games as they pop up anyway.
This entire year I've played that Vampire Survivors game, like a month of Halo Infinite....2 days of MS Flight Simulator....and maybe a week of Forza.
It just ain't for me breh. If it's for you...cool.
I care more about NEW games. I could list off a bunch of games I bought this year that simply ain't on gamepass.
Hell....as I'm typing this...I don't even remember what the hell the argument was even really about at this point. :laff:

I'm down to maybe about 7-10 franchises or so I'm willing to pay $70 for at release and outside of that hell no. I'm not interested in paying a $15-$20 tax on just being able to play a game in less than a month or 2 after release. If you wait that month or 2 after all the people rush out and buy it off hype you get the same product much cheaper. Hell you probably get a better experience than they did because a few patches are likely out and they fixed some of the bugs the early adopters had to put up with.

I got suckered into it again with Star Ocean a month ago for full price and it was like $40 in less than a month. Paid $20 more just to start it about a month earlier. Was not worth that. I try to support these franchises I like but these dirtbag pricing tactics are unacceptable.

If the cost of development is so high and they need to keep raising the price of games why are the damn things so heavily discounted in less than 2-3 months after release? Fairly certain that transaction 2-3 months later at the discounted price is still a profitable transaction for them cause they aren't out here selling new games at a loss.

It’s much different to say that you personally don’t like what’s offered on the service, than all these empty arguments y’all run in with trying to disparage the subscription service as an idea.

In reality y’all should be hoping it succeeds so Sony will have to compete and put the games “you like” on PS+

So you don't buy ANY games because you ONLY play games available on gamepass?

How come its always Sony needs to match MS's subscription service value-offering, and its never MS needs to make games as good as Sony.
You guys always wanna argue over your own opinion.

It doesn’t matter who you feel makes better games. Why do you spend time disparaging a business model that could help you in the long run?

Why do you think sony is fighting so hard to stop microsoft from buying activision? They know there is a tipping point where gamepass has enough quality stuff on it to make them HAVE to compete with it.

You guys should be happy someone is challenging sony. :manny:

Gamepass - we let you try a lot crap you normally wouldn't GAF about :wow:
I know you posted this to mock GamePass, but that's the appeal for me.

Never would have paid full price to try, Destiny 2, Octopath Traveler, Tinykin, Vampire Survivors, Breathedge, Subnautica etc. etc. Yes they're old games but I never had time to try them before. I have played them and for the most part they are fun games.

By comparison Sony Premium is full of their first party titles, which Sony Stans have probably already bought and paid for.

And don't get it twisted, I have both services. Playing through God of War 1 as we speak.
