Can't lie though, I expect gamepass to go up to 19.99 before I expected the sift to 70, but I guess making game pass more attractive is the goal 1st.

It will go up, but I don't think it will happen yet due to gamepass is still in growth phase and they want more subs since it's tied to exec bonuses. I think once they hit like 35-40million subs then they will raise price. Also expect a cloud only tier once they get app on more smart tvs

Sony stans after paying 70 for games for the last two years are now like.

Since MS will be raising their price, even though you can literally play those 1st party games coming out for 9.99 if you really just want to play the game.

Gamepass could be $300 a year and they would still brag about it.
Revy the broken record....games and movies aren't consumed the same. Access to 6,000 videos games for x a month is pointless when you only have time for a couple games a month, if that. People are out here bragging about rented access...not the games they play....not the actual games they've beaten....not the games they love that are only available on their console...their bragging about access....rented...access.

Look at it this way you get to try before you buy and access a lot of games you wouldn’t normally play

Honestly don't mind GP.

It's a good place to play sports games I don't buy anymore like Madden. For PS5/Xbox, outside of big games like AC, Elden Ring, HZD etc., I don't like dropping a bag on anything overly linear unless it's REALLY GOOD.

Senua Sacrifice, Plagues Tale....those are 2 games I'd never buy normally but ended up enjoying quite a bit on GP.
