everybody gonna be raising their game prices since next gen consoles are getting easier to find.

shyt's whatever to me.. I don't do much day 1ing anymore
Truth...I had a friend text me and ask about getting a PS5 for his homegirl. Literally went on the Target app and found one within a day or two.

Xbox needs exclusives that aren't Forza, Halo etc. A good sandbox game.

Tbh game prices should’ve been raised a long time ago. SNES games were $69.99.

The dollar value per hour consumed for video games is incomparable to any other type of entertainment.

I rarely buy games at $60 so I am def not rushing out to pay $70. As for the argument of games were more expensive in the 90s, those games were complete games. We didn't have to deal with multiple rounds of patches. They came in boxes with manuals, cartridges and posters that were shipped internationally and put in stores. Today more and more gamers just hit download.

Profits were already high for them at $60 and there's talks about pushing the price even higher than $70 for the base game. How much will they want for Deluxe Editions? I will gladly wait on the sales.

Since MS will be raising their price, even though you can literally play those 1st party games coming out for 9.99 if you really just want to play the game. :mjlol:
and then pay $10 for it again the next month, and $10 again the following month, and $10 again the following month, and....ahhhhhhh what's even the point.

Ok so stop with the dumb ass arguments.

In no world is it better to NOT have the option of gamepass.
Sony has the option of game rentals and exclusive games.
Who's really winning breh breh?

....and I never said the world would be better WITHOUT gamepass. Where you get that from? :skip:
I'm complaining just for the sake of conversation. I don't see that great of a value personally since the games I personally care about aren't even on gamepass, but if the games you like are on there cool. :yeshrug:When it comes to new games, you're still have to drop $70 on those anyway, unless you want to pretend that the ONLY games that matter are the ones available on gamepass...

TYRONE GA!
I've been gaming for over 30 years.
Are ya'll still rolling the dice on new games?
I have a pretty solid record when it comes to knowing whether I'm going to like a game or not based on trailers and what not.
I haven't bought a game I've hated since I was like 16 years old.

bro, the last game that got me was one I rented at Blockbuster.

Magic Johnson Super Slam Dunk. Me and my potnahs walked to the Blockbuster, saw the back cover, and thought that shyt would be flames on some :gladbron:

Get back to the crib, and we pop the shyt in the SNES.....the music comes on and we hit the :dahell: because the shyt sounds like fukkin Porno Music. Knew it would be cheeks (no pun intended) once we started playing. And yeah it was. :snoop:

Those aren’t the “only” games that matter.

But at $70 a pop you only need a few of them to justify a year of gamepass. Or if it’s something you know you won’t spend a lot of time on like GOW you can subscribe for a month or two and still save $.

In your last post you just said you limit yourself to only games you know you are gonna like. Gamepass is also a low cost way to try games you aren’t sure about.

This year i’ve personally seen you comment on lots of games you’ve played that are on gamepass. Despite that you still the first to run in with the empty arguments against gamepass every chance you get.

Shame :smh:
