In hindsight, I can now feel better about that post. The Winklevoss brothers will probably end up billionaires now. They took their Facebook money and invested in Bitcoin when it was $9 a pop. Now their share is reportedly around $300 million. They got ripped off with Facebook but they're hustlers so they made another avenue pop off instead of bytching for the rest of their lives about Zuck ripping them off. I'm just asking why didn't the McDonald brothers take the $2 million which was equivalent to $20 something million today and start again. Hundreds of chain restaurants started between 1960 and 2017. They had so much more money than the average person. They could've easily made something else happen.

they simply didn't care about money

there were multiple times where ray put it straight to them, do this and you will make more money.. they were always turning it down. they wanted real ice cream, real burgers, a certain cleanliness, a certain menu, inspections

this wasn't some burger joint. this had their family name on it.. when dude said you can't even use your own name anymore, that's crushing. forget the fact that he stole the one thing you and your brother loved doing. and turned into what it is today. shytty food, bad service, and unclean restaurants. and then they supposed to just start from scratch again and compete.. them dudes was already old as shyt

Just finished this...Kroc was an a$$hole. But at the same time it's hard to HATE him despite all the grimey shyt he did. And that's mainly because the brothers were so passive, I know cats like them in real life and that shyt can be irksome because they aren't living life to the fullest

people think the world revolves around money. you see it on the coli everyday but i'll give you the best point

david west has made over 80 million in his career in the nba. before ever getting in, he set up his life, so that when he was close to retirement, he'd be able to play anywhere he wanted. he was frugal, never spending it, and still has close to all of it today.
