Great Film. Ray Kroc was a real-life Walter White lol

The handshake deal, that face that Mac made after they shook hands, its like he knew they lost and would never get the royalties. Kroc was such a slimeball

Why did they agree to the handshake deal. That's only part confusing the fukk outta me.

I believe the idea was that if they didn't take that deal right then and there, Ray would've buried them in litigation. They didn't have the money to fight him in court and prolonging it just would've given Ray more incentive to not give them anything. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

i think they knew they were getting fukked with the handshake. it's just that they had no choice. the other option was to go to court and go bankrupt with legal fees just to end up settling for even less than the original offer even without the handshake deal.

I just saw it. My heart sank at the look on Mac's face as he shook Ray's hand in the end. Ray with the ultimate troll job of opening up his McDonald's right across the street from dikk and Mac's burger joint.

Mcdonalds bros should have got the Mob involved when he started to create his own locations without Ray's consent, or when he started to create his own franchises in Illinois. It was stupid of the restaurant owners to break down how the system works, dumb idea.
