Too bad he isnt dating Kate Mara, her family owns the NYGiants. Would love to see one of the daughters get seeded up by a black man and have some of that wealth get passed down.

Her family owns the NY Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers

Unless you're checking my bank statement, you don't know what I do:birdman: Like I said earlier, took my baby sis to see Fruitvale when it came out. I supported a black director when Dope came out, but I rarely go to the movies these days. My coworkers come up to me like "you going to see that new movie with (some white person doing some shyt I don't care about)?" and I'm like :dwillhuh: wtf is that?

I don't even watch TV. I want to write for it/film, though, and I've been working at that for 14 years, which is why I'm extra sensitive to how white and corny...and horribly written it is.

So you never went to the movies before :beli:

If you've even seen 1 movie your entire life, you've supported rich white men who aren't doing shyt for the black community. Yet you have a list of requirements for black actors to earn your dollar. Lunacy.

Yo....thats crazy....i never thought about it like that :wow:

Nikkas want athletes, celebrities and rappers to do everything for the black community but, won't ask the same of black politicians and government officials who can actually effect change

Dont get it twisted, there's a standard our blk entertaininers need to have under the system of wht susupremacy. c00ning is unacceptable, throwing blks under the bus, to get browny points from whts is unacceptable, and should be a serious offense in the black community.
Yet at the same time, the black community has set the standard for our blk celebs a little too high.

Every athlete ain't an Ali, Karrem, or a Jim Brown. Every musican aint a Marvin, Tupac, or even a Kendrick.
Those guys chose to use their platform, to speak up for blks.

SideNote:When we do have blk men and women, who choose to use their platform to stand up for us. They needed to be appreciated.

He's not c00ning though

If he chooses to date out, that's his choice breh. As long as he's not saying disparaging things about black people or acting like Clarence Thomas out here, black women really have no leg to stand on. And frankly, I cant stand hypocrites seeing as these same simple minded bytches tune in every week to watch bedwenching on prime tv with Scandal and HTGAWM. c00ning is not dating other races. c00ning is exactly what it is.....being a c00n. You don't see white women boycotting Robert De Niro because he married a beautiful chocolate sister and had half breed kids. Or Matthew McConaughey for having half Hispanic kids. Or George Lucas for sharing his billion dollar wealth with a black woman. Or Mark Zuckerberg for sharing his with an Asian woman. Hell, Heidi Klum had kids with the absolute blackest nikka on Earth and she's still famous and making big money, and you KNOW how upset white men get seeing pretty white women with black men. A bunch of insecure black women man. He don't owe them nothing. As long as he don't fix his lips to say anything foul, get over it.

He is super cute IMO, and his comments are questionable at best but the reason this black woman won't be seeing the movie is because it looks WACK AS HELL! People in Hollywood (and outside of it for that matter) say questionable things allllllll the time. If I refused to see movies that had actors/actresses who had said ridiculous and racist things in the past then I would never, ever watch a movie.

This movie looks like it sucks. The end.

Damn so watching movies is so important you're happy to line the pockets of people that say racist and ridiculous things? :dwillhuh:

I love movies but the only movie I've seen in the theater this year is Maze Runner: Scorch Trials because I refuse to monetarily support all white trash or tap dancing c00ns. I wait for Netflix or skip it :manny: people act like supporting trash ass entertainment is some kind of requirement. In 2015 there's hella options, YouTube series, indie movies, etc...

Pay $16 of your hard earned cash to support c00ns and racists brehs

I never said "support all blk actors", im just calling out, this stupid ass reason to boycott one.

I've seen comments from blk women, who vowed to destroy Micheal, and u know they exist, cause i'll post them if u say other wise.

First of all, I don't care about what some other black women have said, how is that relevant to the points that I've made?

Micheal B. apologized, what more do y'all want?
Nia Long said all lives matter, and i dont think she apologized. will y'all boycott her too?

So he apologised after he received a backlash from the majority of his fan base, so what? He said it to pander to white people, do you agree or not? Btw, if Nia Long did say those things then she deserves as much criticism as this guy.

Until then, it's transparent as day , that its not about comments. its about the fact that, Michael B. has been linked to a string of non blk women. that's what y'all are mad about.

I've already told you that my problem with him is based on his comments rather than his personal life, why do you keep bringing this up?

Yet, y'all worship White dudes etc, but wanna destroy brothas for some trivial shyt, that y'all also do.

You're giving white men too much credit if you honestly believe that all black women worship them and place them above black men.

I never heard a nikka say, "lets boycott Serena or Zoe Saldana".
You women are pitiful, then try to act like y'all are destroying a brotha for noble reasons.

I've never heard of Serena Williams say anything negative about black people as a whole to the extent that Michael B. Jordan has. Zoe Saldana isn't black so I don't care about her.

Ya vowed to destroy Kendrick Lamar cause, his A1. day 1 girl friend from High School is lightskinned...
And he's an AList celebrity, rapping about building up the blk community, n y'all still wanted to destroy him. So it's not about no community.

Again, how is this relevant to the points that I made?

Y'all are just like ya Cacs.
Destroying a brotha, is an American pastime.

Stop feeling so sorry for yourself, you've been conditioned to think of yourself as a victim and to believe that your natural allies (black women) are against you when most of us are your biggest supporters.

Its relevant to the point because , may be not u, but the majority of blk women who's stance is to boycott this film... have that mindset.

Because it is what it is.
The simple fact, u didn't know that Nia Long also said what Micheal B said. Yet, is bent out of shape at Micheal, with no recollection of Nia. Shows me, its not about the comments at all, but something else, and that something is Micheal B's personal life...

Yes you R absolutely right, Micheal B did it to pander to whts after the Fantastic Four film flopped.
But guess what?
He apologized he owned up to it. If he does again, then y'all are more than justified ,to go in on him.
Yet,Why can't yall just accept his apology?
The victim's families, of the South Carolina Church shooting, forgave Dylan Roof in a heart beat...
Micheal B. Situation is the weight of a flea in comparison.

Its not about Worshipping wht men, It's about the hypocrisy many Blk women are displaying on this issue. The same blk women who will boycott Micheal B, will give wht men a pass for way worst.

Zoe Saldana is of Afro. Dominican and Afro. Haitian descent. How is she not blk?
Also, i brought up Serena and Zoe because, both mostly prefer wht men. Yet Blk men aren't boycotting Serena, we were pulling for her to break the record.

Kendrick got the same backlash, Micheal B got, once it was revealed who his fiance was. Leading me to believe that, this backlash isn't soley based on Micheal B's comments, And that his personal life is a factor.

Shout out to the real sistas, who hold down us
deserving and undeserving brothas.
In the same breathe, there's bedwenches, who are Blk women who embody wht supremacist views and go out there way to destroy brothas.

Boycotting Micheal B Jordan, the hottest young blk actor in hollywood will accomplish what exactly ?

Tessa Thompson playing his girl or whatever in the movie and he's running around with a gottdam Christmas elf :mindblown:

I supported Fruitvale but I'm not paying to see this:rudy:

Tessa Thompson is cute, yet overrated...

Sorry, I don't think that I made it clear in my other posts but I'm not suggesting that black people should boycott all of his films; I just don't think that we as a community should go out of our way i.e. pay to watch a terribly bad film of his just because he's in it, to support someone who doesn't really care about us and/or our issues.

Again, what you said had nothing to do with the points that I raised so I don't know why you keep bringing it up against me. I'm sure that as a black guy, you already know the negative effects of generalising people.

Why are you comparing a celebrity apologising due to bad press to a genuine tragedy? It's not the same thing and you know it.

I don't think that Zoe Saldana is fully black- look at her mother. I don't have a problem with Kendrick Lamar and I disagree with those that do based on his relationship, so I don't know why you're bringing this up.

Just as there are black women who hate black men and support white supremacy, there are black men who do the same. Both are just as, if not more, detrimental to the wider black community as actual white supremacists.

Btw, the only reason why I didn't know about Nia Long's comments is because I only joined the Coli about a month ago, not because of bias.

Doesn't Tessa Thompson look like a product of a white and black relationship anyway? :dead:

Honestly? No, not necessarily. She's darker than me, got a black Panamanian father (mine was also afro-Panamanian), and she looks like her momma could be Lauren Valez
lauren-velez.jpg

Anyway, I didn't even mention the elf's race in that post, if you notice. I was speaking to the tendency of black celebs to deal with unfortunate looking and/or unaccomplished white women (OJ Simpson the GOAT example of this) over attractive/accomplished black women. I've had better looking white chicks :lupe: and approach me and I don't have any money or fame to speak of. It makes you wonder :jbhmm:

Shout out to the real sistas, who hold down us deserving and undeserving brothas.

Why do undeserving brothas deserved to be held down? :usure:Should undeserving sistas be held down? :sas1:
Once you reveal yourself to be a new black on some "I don't see color" bull, why should he still be supported?
Brehs like Mike B. treat blacks as if they are frivilous to his success and all he needs is white people. Once he does not get that success he then wants he runs back to blacks for hugs and to pander about how much he loves his people.
You better trust and believe if Fantastic Four did better at the box office there would be no Breakfast Club Interview he would be on Good Morning America talking about how much he loves Seinfeld.
If you treat black women as if they are frivilous don't get upset when they treat you as such, there should be no anger towards black women not being there for you, when you acted as if you didn't need them to begin with.

Nah....he wants to be an A-list actor. He wants to be in big budget action movies and superhero remakes just like white actors are. He doesn't want to be reduced to tiny budget urban comedy movies or urban romance movies just because he's a black dude. He wants to have that Will Smith lane. As long as he doesn't say anything foul....let him cook. I wish the brother success. I know if I started a business, I wouldn't just want to sell to blacks. It's not enough money. Too niche. I'd want white people to buy my products too, and I'd be marketing to them heavy. Sorry :dame:
