Not all "black roles" are stereotypical (although there aren't many non-steriotypical black roles out there, in fairness). After all, his most famous roles were specifically written for a black actor to play (Oscar Grant and Creed's son).

Although Creed wasn't made for a wht person, it could of easily been a Rocky Jr. Movie...

Whether you like it or not, every black person in the public eye has a certain amount of scrutiny attached to them from both black and white communities. My problem with this actor is that he's following the trend of many black celebrities before him in that he's pandering to those who have created an environment where it's very difficult for him to succeed rather than those who actually helped him to succeed. Nobody forced him to make those comments about the Black Lives Matter movement but he did so in order to gain 'points' with white people.

Also, isn't the whole 'you must support all black actors' argument that you seem to be implying, a political one?

Most (not all) "white" roles can be played by a person of any race. They aren't race specific. Problem is the white actors get them almost all the time. It's not the roles themselves, its the people who are choosing which actors play the role.

And Creed wasn't going to be Rocky Jr.. It was the director (Ryan Coogler) who specifically came up with the idea for a Creed movie. He had to meet up with Stallone a few times over a span of a few years till Stallone cosigned the idea.
