Havent watched the review but I'd give it around a 7/10 as well.

Game is great but the final 2 story missions left a sour taste in my mouth. Character loyalty missions are easily the highlight of the game. Its the one place where you have fun gameplay wise and the characters finally show you personality. Also you will get to make Mass Effect decisions finally during these missions.

The 5 planets you raise viability for is good stuff. The research and development was good enough. I liked the inventory and all that stuff, felt more RPGish like ME1. I enjoyed managing my loadout, developing new shyt after each mission. Sure it could be better (in reality I just R &D'ed Black Widow 1-6), but for what it was I liked it.

I accepted the tone of the game for what it was, the dialogue and all that I give it a pass. I gave it a pass for the animations and all that other shyt people complain about. I had some glitches happen but that didnt bother me much. Its a huge game so its to be expected. Whatever.

The freedom of gameplay actually felt like a constraint since you can only put in so many points into your character. So might as well focus on 3 powers, max them out. By the time you are at the end game you will have them finally maxed out (as well as gun stats and passive stat bonuses) but not really enough room to add on more shyt and go through the trouble of making multiple profiles. So I ended up playing a limited style using only 3 powers the entire game. I wouldnt rate it lower because of this, but it is a weird dilemma.

My real issues that dramatically lower my view of this game. The final 2 missions are bad. The Vaults were all super repetitive. And then when you think about it you realize you are just playing multiplayer in single player with story scenes thrown in it starts feeling like a chore. No more fukking waves of enemies please. Happens too early in the game, all the way until the end. If the story was up to par I wouldnt mind the repetition in the gameplay, but it wasnt there unfortunately.

I just got denied by Tann to find Meridian. The other 3 said they'd have a plan to deal with it though and told me to meet them in a lab. I'm guessing I'm at the last story mission?

Uh and this is pretty telling about the games story but I dont even remember. Im gonna guess second to last mission....i think?

you finally get to complete the romance right before you can start the final mission, so thats how you can tell you are at the end

In the history of open world games, do they normally come with bugs or nah?
If the answer is yes, then why are you acting as if Horizon is the standard :wtf:
And why are you ignoring the fact Horizon had issues as well
Lets see... The opening movie would crash on a lot of people. Guess what there solution for it was?
:laff:

(If I'm making this shyt up, BAN ME.... cross reference at playstationlifestyle.net :salute: )

And then there was the performance patch for PSpro which made the framerate smoother :tu: buuuuut, at a sacrifce to the graphics :mjlol: Very noticeable if you trying to game in FauxK :patrice:

Get a pro to enhance 1080p brehs :francis:

man, what the hell are you talking about? lol....you really trying to make it some ps vs whomever thing, and that wasnt my point....

to answer your question: do they come with bugs?...yes, but the number of bugs varies...in the case of meA, there are more bugs than normal for such a big name game...

the only bugs i've talked about have been the ones i've experienced, no one elses....i've experienced very few in horizon, and numerous in meA....

i dont have a pro, so i didnt experience that....

I'm guessing the identity of the benefactor won't be revealed in this game. Sucks but I finished Ryder Family Secrets and it wasn't revealed in the end.

i havent finished them yet, only up to the part when they mention the benefactor, but it's obvious who it is...

They screwed up so bad on how they ended Mass Effect 3 that in order for them to make sequels a game like this had to be made. I think the real issue with this game is that it simply resets the table and repeats so much of what Mass Effect 1 and some of 2 did and borrows too many similar themes.

The Benefactor = The Illusive Man and or Cerberus
The Kett = The Reapers
The Remnants = The Protheans
The Nexus = The Citadel

The game ends up coming across as a much less well done type of The Force Awakes where in that it recycles themes and ideas from stuff earlier in the series takes little to no risk. Ultimately though this game was released at the wrong time. Too many good games came out early in the year which makes this average or slightly better than average game seem worse to many people than it is.

people keep talking like it's so hard to fix the ending of 3, when it's not...all they gotta do is make it look like shepard was getting indoctrinated, that everything was fake/a dream being created by the reapers to get control of him, and then go from there....that's it, simple....

hell, if they did that, people would love it cause that's how most feel about how 3 played out anyway....

i already know the missions that wont be finished till after i beat the game: those 'find item x that randomly spawn' ones....there are 3 on the ice plaent, and 1 eos...

question for those that are further along in the game: so i picked up some thing on the ice planet that advanced my romance with peebee to the point i hit it in the escape pod....does that fukk up my chance of knocking down cora?...i picked the 'no strings' option with peebee, and still have to do cora's loyalty mission, so does that mean i still get to tap that ass later?....

To anyone who had drama with the Destroyer in the ice vault on Insanity

N some kett outpost gameplay

the ice planet is fun as hell...a nice mix of missions and enemies to fight, and the added variable of the weather keeps it interesting....

now that i think, the ice planet shows exactly why the game is making it hard for me to enjoy it as much as i'd like....i had a ball doing the missions, exploring, etc., but the fukking glitches/bugs took away from it....examples:

- i did the mission to beat the architect, but i guess since i didnt go the path they wanted me to, the the navpoint is still on the planet and i cant get it off lol...all it says is 'follow the path of the missing scientists'...when i do and get to the spot, nothing...

- the kett keep spawning in the air all over the planet lol..they will stay in the air until i do a certain amount of damage to them, then they 'fall' down and start fighting me, smh....

- beat the kett base, and while talking to the chick, i see a red dot and start getting shot...since you cant move while talking, i die....not only that, the game crashed after i died lol...when i start the game over, and do that part again, i see a red dot again, so i look around this time...there was a damn kett floating in the air above us, smh...
