Realistically how would a modern Mass Effect even work?

It would take 12 or so years to do a trilogy at the going rate. If they have the player make all those choices it would likely take longer as there would be too much stuff to account for.

They would have to either nail it down to a game or two or just remove all those options and tell a specific story.

People would rage. A modem Mass Effect will be different than the older titles for sure.
All they got to do is nail the gunplay/gameplay and make the multiplayer horde mode fun

People gon rage regardless so they better off just making the best game possible

It would work they just would have to lean heavy on making sure the actual gameplay is good

Let’s keep it quadrillion , who really gives a fukk about dialogue choices and shyt like that

I mean cool if companies going to go deep into choices and shyt but I doubt most really give a fukk if it’s not there

I could care less if my character speaks at all during the game
The fans care about that. If they just want to make a shooter, gears of war is that way.

all I’m saying is interactive dialogue is an overrated feature in games

If BioWare wants to really be considered one of the top companies, have a goty game, they need to focus on gameplay, spending majority of labor resources on dialogue is not the move

And it’s simple to imagine it being just a “shooter”

It’s simple to call it “gears of war” just on the notion of improved gameplay

Mass Effect without interactive dialog might as well be a new IP because the fans would absolutely reject it. It's like suggesting taking the guns out of Call of Duty and making it a walking simulator. Series fans don't want what you're suggesting.

That’s a terrible analogy you just used
