thanos when he gets the infinity gauntlet in avengers three which is what all these movies are leading up to.. and you clearly have no clue who ultron is...
I used the term Stan once in response to you whining about people calling you and others who share your opinion on Marvel's villains a stan. How about you follow your own advice and do a search before you start talking out your ass, chief? You came in here talking out your ass, throwing around the stan card. You don't need to cyber stalk me, I'm telling you point blank you don't know what the fukk you're talking about. And that's easily proven via a simple Search, which you refuse to do because you're trying to save face.
Nice deflection attempt though.
Fred.
Is this a problem movies usually have in general, that we want to harp on marvel about to belittle their achievements as a wholeI used the term Stan once in response to you whining about people calling you and others who share your opinion on Marvel's villains a stan. And I don't need to deflect or save face because my original opinion on this matter stands...Marvel's cinematic universe has only produced one good villain, the rest are all underdeveloped, lackluster and forgettable.
Whether you are a legit stan or not is something you will need to take up with your local pastor because I really don't give a damn one way or the other.
A lot of movies in general drop the ball on villains but it is a glaring issue with Marvel because of how good there movies tend to be except for in this one area.Is this a problem movies usually have in general, that we want to harp on marvel about to belittle their achievements as a whole
Or is developing a good villain something only marvel struggles with and everyone else nails with ease

As far as comic book movies, let's look at say the comic book movies to come out in 2013-2014 and rate the villains in those movies as weak or strong.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Alexander Pierce: Weak
X-Men: Days of Future Past - Magneto: Strong
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Electro/Goblin: Weak
Guardians of the Galaxy - Ronan: Weak
Iron Man 3 - Aldrich Killian: Weak
Man of Steel - Zod: Strong
Thor: The Dark World - Malekith: Weak
The Wolverine - Yashida: Weak
Kick-Ass 2 - The Motherfukker: Strong
Well you and I are looking at things from an entirely different perspective...I consider a villain strong based off of how well developed the villain is as a character in the movie. You are just going by how powerful the villain is.Dude.... How are you even judging who is strong from who is weak? Cuz cuz some what you're saying makes no sense.
@wire28 actually broke it down best and made some of the same points I have been making.
But it just seems like everyone that calls the Marvel villains weak never go into why they think so or how.
You lost me at how the Kick Ass villain is strong but the Dark Elf who's warriors invaded the impregnable Asguard, kill Odin's wife, and took what they wanted weak. Or calling Ronan weak, the same guy that brushed Drax (the by far strongest Guardian) like he was an ant.
Movie by movie, how are these guys weak? Cuz if there is a scale, then on the same scale the Joker would have to be considered weak...... The moment him and Batman ever get in the same room he gets his ass whooped
How is Zod strong? Cuz some buildings got destroyed?
But this is about how formidable they areWell you and I are looking at things from an entirely different perspective...I consider a villain strong based off of how well developed the villain is as a character in the movie. You are just going by how powerful the villain is.
Malekith in Thor 2 was one of the worst villains in any movie from 2013. He was just utterly forgettable regardless of how many evil elves he controlled or how much power he derived from that magic red wine he was so desperate to get his hands on.
I never got the sense spiderman was in danger and the majority of People feel the same. Electro was underwelming also. And yes asm 2 is shyt and nowhere near as enjoyable as guardians.Rachel dawes aint gwen stacey. To your point (and yes i get it) electro was enough of a threat that spiderman had to stop his entire life, reengineer web shooters and fluid, and re engage him...he was destroying shyt and causing casualties in times square and spiderman had to do some death defying shyt in seconds to save lives.
He was formidable
Goblin was formidable.
But ASM2 was allegedly garbage, so, it doesn't count.
I decided to take that to mean formidable in terms of character development...But this is about how formidable they are
