Rachel dawes aint gwen stacey. To your point (and yes i get it) electro was enough of a threat that spiderman had to stop his entire life, reengineer web shooters and fluid, and re engage him...he was destroying shyt and causing casualties in times square and spiderman had to do some death defying shyt in seconds to save lives.

He was formidable

• In the first
  • I couldve done without scenes of him skate boarding
  • I have general fatigue of the spiderman origin story and they didnt tell it as well as Spiderman 1
  • I dont really like lizard, and would have preferred a few other choices as first foe of spiderman
  • The crane scene was very...very convenient
• In the second
  • There really isnt a whole lot i didnt like...it felt like a spiderman comic book more than almost any comic film i can think of
  • They couldve been a bit more creative with shocker's origin moment but he was pretty raw after so i don't mind.
  • If i had my way i would've edited down the parker family story and had the part after gwens death and the ending be a bigger return moment.

when their is a conspiracy and the enemy is a multi level organization, its not going to be defined by ONE main villain. This aint no batman vs. joker shyt. It's bigger than that. HYDRA was the main villain and the way they infiltrated SHIELD for decades shows how powerful it really was. Redford and Bucky were pawns. Just like in Guardians, Ronan was an antagonist. He was a villain but not in the since you want it to be. Marvel has always been about the infinity stones. And most of Marvels movies have easter eggs and sub plots pertaining to them. THANOS is the main villain in the marvel universe. It's not like DC where everything is laid out nice and neat, with ONE villain and ONE hero and that's it.
This is chess not checkers.

dudes complainin comic movies for havin a bigger vision, just like the comic its based on... save you breath breh... we both know this is about Thanos & Ronan was strong but used to hype Thanos up more.... same with Bucky, who might be Cap by the end of the next movie...

The dialogue, the flirtation between Stone and Garfield alone.

Like the director just tossed them together and said flirt and Garfield had no game for my Emma.

The pieced together plot. The lack of direction in the acting. The whole emo/hipster vibe was worse than SM3.

I really can't think of anything redeemable about this movie.

SM2 is probably a Top 5 Marvel movie. Spidey quitting and coming back was human and relatable. The whole thing moved like a play.
