I’m not entirely sure it’s elitism. Marty likes a lot of B movies from the 50s and 60s and flicks other people in this very forum would look down on lol.

Dude saying its not real cinema is some fake deep hogshyt. Nobody above being called out on saying some emotional jealousy type shyt. He's still human. At the end of the day, if someone is telling a story with a camera and it's shown in a theater it's technically cinema.
Dude needs to get over himself. People will sit here saying "art is subjective" while defending abstract bullshyt, but now all that's out the window because Marvel's "art" forming it's own economy.

What you just typed is absurd and shows howvyou havent put an ounce of effort into thinking about what is being discussed.
The audience shows what they want in going to see the movie. Their actions in buying ticketa repeat views, shows that marvel movies built an audience connection.
Some of you seem to think that how you personally feel disregards basic logic, ita okay to dislike genres or films. Just accept the fact that ita your personal preference doesn't make what you are saying a fact and its a sign of immaturity when you try to make arguments as to why non alignment with your personal preference is an "issue"
