not even that breh

Forr many, San Francisco income levels have been steadily rising the last four years.

The median household income for whites reached $104,300 last year, up 14 percent since 2011 (this is household not a single person), according to recently released census data. The annual household median rose for Latinos and Asians, as well.

But not all have fared as well during the city's seemingly relentless explosion of wealth.

In the same span, the median income of San Francisco's shrinking black population fell to $29,500, a 5 percent decline. It's even lower than what blacks make in Oakland or San Bernardino County, the most affordable part of the state.

And the economic disparity between whites and African Americans isn't much better in other Bay Area counties.

There are millionaires living check to check .... once your income rises, your expenses/taxes rise too

Especially if you have a relationship.... so many men funding the IG lifestyle just so she can stunt on her friends

Then she resents you for making her feel bad about hurting her friends ....next comes that divorce

Meanwhile #GMB/HOH on that infinity streak without a single loss :wow:

Since when is Milwaukee Wisconsin San Fran?

But but San Fran but but NYC.

I'm sure your living like a king in Charlotte and I'm sure you prob make less than 120k
Im pretty sure the OP lives in DC

And in any case no need to get in your feelings about the opinions of people on the internet. Someone on the Coli thinking 120K is chump change has no effect on your life

I got a friend who got divorced at 39 with 5 kids making 130k a year north of Boston. The Alimony/child support was so high, he literally took a job for less money (still $70-90k a year) and moved into a rental apartment with only 2 bedrooms for his kids to share when they stayed with him. Within 2 years, 2 of the kids were old enough to be off at College and one was about to be graduating high school, so his child support dropped.....to $2k a month, and she can take him back to court any time he makes more money to ask for more support.

Dude literally makes less money on purpose right now, and never has any any doh, drives a old paid off sedan and watches his pennies for eating out/drinking.

Getting divorced is one of the best ways to ruin your financial earning power.

This is false, the median household income in the San Francisco metropolitan area (including Alameda County) was $88,000 in 2015.

You seem hellbent on your narrative that 120K is 120K no matter where you live in the US which is complete bullshyt. If you live in the Midwest/South 120K is more like 250K period. There is nothing in the South comparable to SF and Chicago is nowhere near as expensive, the rent in the Tenderloin (mixed income predominantly-immigrant neighborhood with huge permanent homeless population) is higher than it is to rent a new apartment near the Loop. fukk outta here tryna tell nikkas who live here how far money goes in the Bay :camby:

In 2016, Business Insider put the median household income for the SFO metro area at $78,969:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/highest-earning-us-cities-2016-6

How am I'm hell bent on a narrative that 120k is the same anywhere in the country when I only cited the median household income in the San Francisco area? :mindblown:

Whether you believe the median household income in the SF area is $78k as the article I posted says, or $88k as the source you cited says, does that change the fact that an individual making significantly more than either of those household medians is not making peanuts?

Why don't you post the per capita income numbers for San Francisco and see how that compares to $125k/year
