thats why u carry cash all the time. having ur card declined is something no self respecting man wants to ever happen. and u cant blame the bank cause like u said, they're looking out for u. if they see someone purchasing something in florida with ur card, but u live in arizona, AND u just purchased something in arizona within the last 1 hour or so, they have good reason to believe ur card has been jeopardized.what if it was just a issue with the card though? Sometimes a bank will lock a card for some random security issue...
Go to betterment. They do it for you. I can't recommend them enoughI hear ppl say that all the time, but in what? Public corps? elaborate breh
but still...to have no money and we 3 days from payday...nah breh,. thats bad money management
Yea it's just one of those things, the more money you make the more money you spend, I make about 40k less in bum ass Indiana than when I lived in DC, and actually live a lot more comfortably....
My man a glutton for punishmentHe's getting married again?
To an extent he ain't wrong bruh, making anything less than 70K these days and you're living check to check, working 2-3 jobs and renting an 80 sq ft room in the slums in SF if you're paying the current market rate
120K will allow you to work 1 job and not check to check IF you live well below your means. Studios in frisco go for $3500+ and once you pile car insurance, parking fees, student debt, etc. on top of that you're easily spending 5K+ a month on bills not including food. That income is about 7K a month after taxes (9.6K before)... if you're frugal you might save 1000 of that a month which is great until you have some unforeseen health/robbery/disaster bullshyt come up that eats up your savings.
The obvious choice is living outside of Frisco which is having the adverse effect of raising the rents everywhere else
Most Americans are check to check regardless of income levels.
This is why rich athletes go broke, they live check to check and have no savings after they leave the league.
I swear if I get any big time money, there's no fukking way i'm getting married or having children. fukk that brainwashing BS.
Is San Francisco weather that nice to spend 7k a month on BILLS!?
I mean, I don't get it at all
The Coli. $120K is like 60-70K after taxes. Even in DC, you can get by on 3K a month which means you should be saving a shyt ton of money every year. Now if you wanna rent a 5 bedroom house or live in a loft in the middle of downtown that's on you. I'm fine with a 1 or 2 bedroom in one of the towns close to the city.
Whats CS?SF has turned into a rich person's city. A lot of tech/engineer/professional money, and most younger people have roomates.
This is why Oakland is gentrified as fukk now, because lot's of people commute to SF for the cheaper cost of living across the bay.
There's no way i'd live like a bum just to live in SF proper, although it is an amazing city and a lot of fun.
The problem is, most places outside of SF are boring as fukk. When I lived in the bay, i'd take the train into the city almost every weekend.
If you don't have a roommate, I hope you're pulling at least 100k a year and have no kids/CS. Otherwise
