This is getting shyt on in IMDb ratings. I first assumed brigading but most of the reviews seem legitimate and stuff I was really concerned with from the trailers and things I’ve read.

Most of these reviews were dead wrong.

GOT and TLOTR are so different .... idk how anyone can make that comparison. they're both great but sooooo different.

People just lazy with the thinking. Terrible comparison.

Anyways I’m all in on this first couple episodes are dope.

It's visually amazing and writing is decent, but it's so hard to care about a series about the fall of Sauron when we know where all roads ends in the beginning of Fellowship of the Ring. This series could work if they had a completely different antagonist threat.

The beginning of fellowship of the rings and that's it. The monologue that cate blanchett's character is giving, (a younger version of that character is the lead in the series). Once gollum loses the ring you can turn it off.

there is a sword in both properties that's eerily similar
