LL Cool J promoting FUBU during a GAP commercial, might be the greatest branding coup.

I'm still waiting for u to name 1 "urban" brand that lasted 10 years. What u are saying isn't facts...if it was you woulda been named 1 along time ago instead of all this juelzing. I'l take u serious when u finally name 1 "urban" brand that lasted 10 years like u claimed is possible. But you cant cuz they dont exist. Now respond with more Juelzing while still not naming 1 "urban" brand that lasted 10 years.

How is the concept that the consumer determines the how long a product will be sold not a fact?
:mjlol:

Because I already explained to you that u cant mix the 2 and you're trying your best to mix them and it doesn't work like that......"Urban" gear always has a small shelf life. My dude. This is pretty well known info. You're the first person on the entire planet that has ever challenged this fact. You wanted to contest this yet when I asked you to name 1...Just 1 "urban" clothing brand that went 10 years like u claimed u couldnt name 1. If what u say is true then you could name 1 but u cant.

What boggles me is that keep stressing that the consumer determines how long a product is relevant....I explained to you that rule doesnt appy to "urban" gear because of its 2 - 3 year shelf life.....yet u keep challenging this fact but u cant name 1 "urban" brand that confirms your claim. Thats where u get weird. U make a claim but cant name 1 product to back your claim. Until u name 1 brand (which u cant thats why u juelzing) Your claim is dead wrong. I will not respond to u on this any further until u name 1 brand...which u cant because it doesnt exist.

Supreme just started cracking off like 5 years ago due to hype beast

i used to always see the red logo i just thought it was some off brand skater shyt

5 years ago? No.

They’ve been in demand going back to the LRG days 12 or more years ago. Their first Nike collaboration was in 2003.

I stand corrected. 15 years ago.

You really tring to compare Supreme to the "urban" likes of "Fubu" , "Phat Pharm", "Rocawear" , "Sean John" and "Karl Kani"?

Wouldn't Supreme fall more in the category of "Lacoste" and "Juicy Couture"? White people shyt thats rocked heavy in the urban community?

I’m not saying it’s not a skate brand, but it was definitely worn by a lot of people with no interest in skating.

no they did not they started as skater shyt (streetwear)
they're the same as Stussy

See above.

I think you're confusion what cats in the hood rock created by white folks compared to actual Black people making the clothes and promoting them like Fubu, Sean John and Karl Kani. The difference is that Supreme wasn't aimed for us....similiat to how Polo or Timbaland wasnt aimed at us either....The hood just made that into hip gear...thats why Polo and Timbaland dont die out either because thier original intention wasn't aimed at "us"

Remember Black Bart t shirts and Malcolm X hats? That was aimed at "us" and thats why the shelf life was short. Anything aimed at "us" has a short shelf life.
