It's crazy when people in the music industry don't understand the roles of individuals in the music industry then they wonder why they get taken advantage of

Ft. Stewart, Ga
Which leads me to my own conclusion. Now that roles are established then why can't they just keep cranking out products as a duo since their is a still established fanbase who wants more music

They literally are. Where have you been the last four years?

2019 they put out a brand new album as a duo

2021 they toured together and put out Vinyl, they also finally got the Masters to both The Listening & The Minstrel Show

2022 they were working on the documentary

2023 they put out the 20th anniversary edition of The Listening, released an EP, and put out the Documentary. Thats why their doing all of these interviews, to promote the documentary

Pooh and 9th’s issue was NEVER 9th being an in-house group only producer. There issue was him not touring and having an equal grind in the group and only wanting to email beats and not contribute to the overall cohesiveness of the albums.

Again, if your going to be a group then there needs to be equal contribution and equal buy-in amongst the members. Everybody is sacrificing to make it happen. Phonte has numerous methods of income, some more lucrative than Little Brother. Pooh has an entire separate artist development business where he has a collection of artists he manages. They could easily be focusing on those endeavors so it makes zero sense to allow 9th to focus on HIS endeavors while still benefiting off the Little Brother brand if he’s not putting in his fair share of work
I agree but I saw the documentary (which was great btw). They told 9th to go do his business with Jay-Z and Beyoncé. When 9th tried to go to the tour they was like “nah we been grindin without you “blah blah blah”. So you can’t tell the man to go handle his business then penalize him for doing so. I also think they was kinda of jealous of 9ths success and stature. Cuz they was getting shows canceled if 9th wasn’t there. So they probably like “We doing all the work but your name bigger than ours.

After that documentary I can't even take phonte and pooh seriously anymore :yeshrug: .....them dudes been salty about 9th from day 1. Still dope artists but they still got that bitterness in their heart. Especially Pooh.
They’re still human. I don’t hold it against them.

9th seems like an a$$hole and Phonte seems to have ego issues/issues not being given credit for his greatness. I can't see it ever being resolved unless a life changing incident occurs.

How so?

The man has worked with damn near every underground artist and then mainstream artists from Jay, Beyonce, Erykah, Luda, Kendrick, Paak, etc.

He's been getting steady work for 21 years. If he was hard to work with or an a$$hole that wouldn't be the case.

His issues with Pooh and Phonte shouldn't cause anyone to question his character especially when Pooh and Phonte had issues with each other. There's isn't a single person in music who didn't have few relationships go south.

Phonte and Pooh seemed salty cuz they done all the work on the road and 9th was the star without being there. I would feel a certain way to but you gotta put your feelings to the side.

The Booth on one hand will call Swizz Beatz untalented for randomly pressing buttons on a keyboard to create a beat. Then will say it doesn't take any talen to find a sample. Then will tell you that it takes absolutely no talent to put a song together. Never will you see people congregate together and proudly tell you they know nothing about how music is created without saying it all while spitting on Hip Hop (you know sampling and improvisation).
