Like Brazil.......it didnt end slavery until 1888, and Lincoln would have sent Black American freed slaves into slave territories in South America
Even to this day, those Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries have massive self hatred and c00ning like you would never believe. A person like c00ndance Owens would be a normal person in those countries.

we had no choice in the matter at that time, if Lincoln lived we don't even know where we would had ended up..or how the world would be. But it would had been an interesting take if he really picked a country im Africa.
He Never “freed the slaves”; 1) he wanted more black men to fight for the North bc he was afraid that European nations would fight for the confederacy so he wanted to eliminate the southern stronghold ie slavery, he wanted to take away labor and commerce from the South. 2) France and England were starting to recognize the Confederacy as legit therefore Lincoln was afraid of them joining ranks with the South. And in turn Lincoln also ensured this would add more black soldiers to the Union Army as a show of manpower and force. Lincoln was a grade a racist - he said that if he could have kept the union together without freeing the slaves- he would done so. He did not care about the rights of Black people contrary to White history making their evil mortally corrupt leaders -“heros” . The Civil War was purely one of politics and economics. Basically - the slaves self emancipated via what was called Freedman’s Villages in exchange for labor and services.

Another fun fact: The Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal) was trying to expand their empire and wanted to conquer The Union Territories in the northeast, and the Confederate Southeast like the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and even Alabama, if the Civil War lasted even 6 more months. It was a good thing the Civil War ended, cause everyone in America would have been speaking Spanish as the main language.

Hell Nah. Black folk would be better off in a non Europeanized Carribbean country, or somewhere in West Africa. South America was still doing slavery till almost 1900. On top of self hatred, it would have been curtains for pro-black way of thinking.
Yeah, The Spanish Empire was no joke back in the mid to late 1800s. They would have conquered a fractured American Union, divided by war, and would have toppled the British Empire by conquering its trade routes. The Spanish Empire also looked at Canada as expansion as well, since they were all about dominating the rest of Europe to trade routes to India and the Western Hemisphere in the age of imperialism.
Spain did get the American Southwest, Mexico, Central and South America and parts of southeast Asia, though.

Not true. We knew what he wanted. Lincoln started deporting slaves from America to Panama as early as 1861. He commissioned black representativeS to start the process. He started moving black people there in segments but the resources and mining opportunities weren’t thriving and Costa Rica laid claim fo the land. Basically Lincoln was trying to force black slaves out of America with whoever would take them. By 1862, “The next area considered was a small island off the coast of Haiti. About 450 blacks were sent to the island, but after only a year, nearly 25% had died due to poor nutrition and disease. The remainder were returned to the states”. At one point, he was like fuk it after a series of trials/ error and said “just move all the slaves to Texas” . Check the National Archives - Lincoln is quoted as saying “I can hardly believe that the South and North can live in peace, unless we can get rid of the negroes … I believe that it would be better to export them all to some fertile country…”
Which complicates the issue bc you have Panamanians and Costa Rican black
People who are on paper - African Americans born in America with black American heritage but who have Panamanian and CR citizenship bc Lincoln decided to deport them from their American birthplace.
