I'm from VA I have seen photos of African slaves , real black people looked like them . You will not see any or very few light skin people in photos of slavery in the US and Virginia was one of the biggest slave states , it is very well documented here.

The texture of her hair,

she has afro hair

eye color,

so you're saying this Afram isn't a "black" woman?:lolbron:

and complexion are not black features and the only thing black about Kathleen Cleaver and Elaine Brown is their hair.

:pachaha:

Black is anyone who looked like the slaves who came off those ships sold into slavery (real black people) no light people were on those ships from Africa.

It makes no sense arguing with these dudes, breh. They'll try to tell you that there were Africans that came off the slave ships that looked like Chris Brown, Halle Berry, Vanessa Williams, Alicia Keys, Michael Ealy etc. You're just wasting your time.

It is well documented that slaves were dark skin.

She is an outlier most black people dont have blue eyes with dark or brown skin

Oh really...
"He disengaged himself from other life experiences and went back to a particular spot in his memory to capture the racial distinctions he was able to make. He saw no distinction in skin color between the red men in Igboland and the white men he met on the slave ship. "

--Jacob Korieh. 2009. Olaudah Equiano and the Igbo world: history, society and Atlantic. 2009

" Oye-Eboe" may be a version of the Igbo word oyibo used in the nineteenth century to mean "white man," Equiano clearly uses it to refer to other Africans, perhaps the Aro slave traders. At this point in is life, he tells us, he had not yet seen or even heard of a European."
-- Vincent Carretta. 2005. Equiano, the African: biography of a self-made man. p15

"Badsen [GT Badsen, "Niger Ibos," Frank Cass and Co, London, 1938: 123-124],
in his early-twentieth century study of the physical appearance of the Igbo, had this to say:
'On the whole, the Ibos are of good physique and compare favorably with other African tribes..
Many Ibos are truly as black as the proverbial coal: others are almost as light-skinned as the
natives of Southern Europe,
while a few are distinctly reddish.
The folk who stand out obtrusively
are the albinos.'"

Stop acting like you're the ambassador of mixed/light skin people. I find paranoid mixed people like you funny, when you find out that being light skin does not mean you're mixed your type becomes paranoid.:biggrin::biggrin:

These threads always go this way because lightskinned people are desperate for acceptance and non lightskinned posters are thirsty for lightskinned women so it's almost like a win-win for both sides to accept these people in our communities.

There are Africans that look like that in West Africa dumbass :dead:

They are not pure , there has been mulattos and admixed people in Africa since the Kingdom of Kongo and probably further back. Most africans are dark and brown skin , should clue you in on who are the natives , and not all of those women were light skin . Those light skin Africans are a result of the continued breeding with admixed people and white supremacy putting them above black people.

Narrow nose, small lips, eye color and hair texture its a mix of these features a long with a light complexion

I find it funny that no one has countered this post. These "yellowbone" Khoisans are more "pure" than any of you on here will ever be.

Again people shouldn't find it surprising that African descent people who are light skin hardly have any non-African admixture. Look at the Khoisan people of southern Africa. They are said to be the oldest Africans who carry very ancient genetic lineages and hardly have any non-African admixture(if they do its indirect from other Africans like Bantus) and yet some look like this!

I DARE anyone to say these Africans are "mixed". You're Central African "pure" African probably as more admixture than these Africans!
