They see me trolling, they hating.....
I was just talking about his verse on nikkaz Done Started Something.

It had been a while since I heard that.Forgot how ferocious he snapped on that shyt back then.

Hall Of Fame level type spitting.

That's the thing about X.Some of his work is spotty and comes off gimmicky(whole dog barking shyt) to me.

But then he'll show flashes of brilliance.I'm going to always respect him for "Slipping" and that verse he laid down on nikkaz Done Started Something.

That was the apex of X IMO

did u know that tack was recorded in 96?

Well, yeah, Jay was the bigger name than 50 Cent in 2003. Go head make another post so I can kick away your chair too...

Dog just let it go because you're digging your hole even deeper. Someone should just kick away your internet access because you sound stupid as fukk. And while I might add:

After erupting from Brooklyn’s rough-and-tumble Marcy Housing Projects to break through as a recording artist in 1996, Jigga’s initial efforts as a showman were probably better intended than received. “All my early years? Forget it. I was a horrible performer,” Jay said, admitting he learned it the hard way from DMX during a co-headlining tour in 1998. “DMX tore me to pieces. I remember being stunned.”

Through a combination of competitive urgency and the kind of icy professionalism for which he has become known, Jay-Z diagnosed what needed to be done. Namely, highlighting his nimble lyricism by frequently rapping a cappella and executing blustery moves like running through the audience while delivering rhymes that raised the bar on DMX’s macho, shirt-off stage posturing.

I've been sayin' this for years.

This dude single-handedly brought hardcore Hip Hop back to the forefront of the East Coast. His first three albums were ridiculously dope and consistent. He had the game in his hands, but he's always been his own worst enemy.

This "ironfist" theory crumbled real quick:laff:.

Crumbled where, what and how? His Camel stanning ass got exposed left and right bringing that bullshyt so he played his position and stayed in the corner.

So JayZ made more a impact in 1998 because he had one #1 album in comparison to DMX's 2 number ones? DMX single handily changed the game from Jiggy to Gritty within that year and JayZ following suit with Hard Knock Life 2.

Jay even changed his sound up because the Ruff Ryders had the streets on locked. That nikka even said himself that DMX made him step his stage presence up when they were co headlining the tour But according to some nikkas here. Jay dominated 98 lol

WHY WAS DMX A SIDE ACT IN JAY Z'S HARDKNOCK LIFE TOUR THEN FORCED TO SHARE A TOUR WITH RUFF RYDERS AND CASH MONEY?

Jigga sold 5 mill of Vol 2 then in 2000 went 3X Plat with Vol 3... and also had DMX as a sideshow in his Hard Knock Life Tour

go watch the hard knock life dvd on youtube
dame clearly says its a roc a fella/ruff ryder partnership
he even gets mad because at the ruff ryder camp about not participating more and being in more scenes

dont let the tour name fool you

dmx was bigger den jay-z in 98
and the anticipation and build up to his album was crazy
