Actually, that is a good point and something that I noticed before.

For whatever reason, a decent number of preppy Black people don’t get together. I’ve made the same observation about some preppy brehs- they stick with non-Black women.

And I hate to say it, but other races notice this stuff too. If you’re a fit, preppy, cute Black girl you really have NO problem attracting men of other races. NONE. And they will approach if they get the sense you are attracted to them.
And preppy Black guys have women of other races in their faces the time.

Someone I work with, her hubby attended an Ivy for undergrad. They are the typical preppy Black couple. She said when she meets her hubby’s colleagues, etc they always say “Oh wow, I thought he had a white wife”. These are WHITE PEOPLE telling her they assumed her Black husband had a white wife.

It’s like we stereotype our each other to the point that we can’t even connect to someone who is our equivalent.

I find that more common out west.. a lot of people who don’t really know me, based off the first few interactions, assume I have a wife that isn’t black; it’s kind of annoying lol. Out East I never get that. My wife gets that too, she’s West Indian, and very pretty and works in the medical field... we make it a point to say we’re Black and how long we’ve been together... la is just different

Obviously you're not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but black women aren't a monolith either. Like women of other races, I'm sure most of them just want a dude who is comfortable being respectful, responsible, and responsive. I think some dudes in here are overestimating their personalities because "goofy" to them, is probably cringe or offensive to the majority of other folks out there. A black woman wouldn't want you, not because you're goofy and vulnerable, but because you're aloof and give off weird energy, and you just don't know that

A lot of you nikkas are still outdated in the way you find women. If your only spots are the club/lounge, approaching random bytches in the grocery store you're severely limiting your options

Some of you nikkas need some hobbies or to try some new activities. If you got art shows in your town and ain't hitting them up you're missing meals trust me

Are you good at anything besides your job? If not get good at something extracurricular. Join a yoga class, learn to sculpt, I don't fukkin know nikka point is a lot of you nikkas have been stuck in the chicken fingers/ice cream side of the buffet and have never seen the possibilities so you got this tunneled ass worldview. You probably barely even know what YOU like let alone females

If you truly get yourself together you can likely eat anywhere but your chances multiply exponentially when you expand your playing field past clubs and bars
