Goodness.

Who gives a shyt?
Make your own superhero movie and support it. Why beg for Hollywood to prop your shyt up?

Mexicans had this amazing artful movie called “Roma” in 2018. Nobody supported it. Even tho it won tons of awards.

I don’t think Latinos need to see themselves reflected in superhero movies. But if you want that, make it yourself.

Anyway this seems more like a Mexican push than a “Latino” push. Latinos is too broad a spectrum here.

George Lopez should be trying to make the Mexican “Spotlight” to speak about how the church has abused people in his highly religious country. Or lots of other subjects…like how domestic violence and murders are wrecking women in that country.

Movies that might actually highlight issues and help his people. Not necessarily some big budget superhero waste of time that isn’t even as good as that animated “Coco” movie.

ill say it again! in this day and age im shocked there hasn't been a Storm movie! shyt would be perfect and probably the best marvel movie cinematically. Imagine the FX and visuals in a loaded theatre. A serious tone Storm none of that GoG comedic tone bullshyt.

Good point. :wow:

But, who owns the X-Men IP though?

Second life/winds are a thing. If Gunn is intent on continuing to use Blue Beetle, then it doesn't matter how this film does. If his universe is a success, then he can always utilize the character in other films and if people grow to like him and show renewed interest, he can put out a sequel and make bank.

Garfield's Spider-man had 2 shytty films, but you had people screaming for a 3rd one after No Way Home.

I been saying it, but people will get out here loudly saying they're tired of "Marvel" and they want other stuff at the movies...then don't support none of the other shyt. :mjlol:

This is also why studios race swap characters :mjlol: People say adapt original minority characters, they do and this is what usually happens. It's actually less of a risk to racebend a popular character and more profitable. This is why they will continue to do it.

What popular characters were racebended and successful?
