prs and blacks have a pretty amicable relationship, that doesn't really exist outside this area. again i'm not implying that its all good but there's no hatred/rivalry/serious beef between blacks and puerto ricans in this area. not like texas, or cali or florida where the latinos are super :mjpls:.

i clarified my statement, i was too general
All I gotta say is that the majority always affects the minority brotha

my oldest son is afro cuban.
i don't believe hes a c00n..... he's actually very pro black.

Cubans are racist but not more than americakans. And most black Cubans know they are african. Cuba is were many black Revolutionaries reside because of their Treatment in America.

i'm thinking bout going to calle ocho in miami on sunday and check out the food, music, and scenery.

Let the rumba, baile, y chusmeria of Calle Ocho 2015 begin!
Break out your #TWERKEA t-shirt and Puerto Rican do-rag. Stuff your face with mariquitas y chicharrón and $5 homemade party punch. Join the impromptu conga line and impress the mami or papi of your dreams with those tremendo reggaeton moves.

That's right, Calle Ocho 2015 is here. For 38 consecutive years, the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has attracted millions of callejeros to SW Eighth Street for America's largest block party.

On Sunday, March 15, el club will again be bringing some of the biggest names in Latin music to the heart of la Pequeña Habana for a full-day of baile y chusmeria.

Latinos don't even give afro-latinas dancers/models roles in their music videos

That's why we got so many gwalla gwalla bytches on our music videos. Like the one that had the brother set up and killed up in the Bronx. They can't get acting /modeling jobs on those gwalla channels because tha are considered too ugly (feo). Those gigs go to white latinos. So they go the hip hop route and piggy off us.

This is 100% true. Any of the islands where there was slavery, including the islands off the Carolinas and Georgia, maintained way more African customs than us becuz the Europeans didn't stay there and live there like that. They lived here full time and successfully stripped us of our identity. My bro n law is from Barbados and hates being called black. He knows damn well he's black but would rather be called Bajan. He says calling himself black only gives the white man what he wants

That is fukked up. I'm Bajan myself and I'm Black and proud of it.

Most people don't object to being called black, but c00nery is still alive and well in the Islands unfortunately. Skin bleaching creams are very popular down there.:beli:
