I stay in South Las Vegas aka Enterprise. It’s away from the fukkery you would see in the north but close enough for fun on the strip.
“People need homes so they build homes. Then they need to buy shyt so they build stores”This exactly.
It's the desert, and if shyt is left alone for a few years it looks like an abandoned western town.
I've lived in every corner of the valley, and the only problem is druggies, which are everywhere and come in every form.
There's very few, like count on one hand, blocks in Vegas that are "dangerous". I haven't been fukked with since I was like 11 riding the city bus. You might get verbal with a druggie on the strip or downtown but they just bark.
Idk what dude saying about plantation and shyt. It's the same as any other city
They build houses and put stores around them once a certain amount of people habitat that area. Wtf are you talking about

The job market in Las Vegas has been the hardest-hit among large US metro areas during the pandemic. The region is heavily reliant upon travel, discretionary spending, business conferences and large gatherings, but has seen those key spigots turned off.
Las Vegas, the hardest-hit metro economy in America, just suffered another blow - CNNNevada's lack of industry diversification likely will hinder the jobs recovery much like it did after the Great Recession, he said. Following the 2008 downturn, it took nine years for the state to surpass its pre-recession jobs numbers.
Pandemic a reminder that Las Vegas needs to diversify economyStill, the meltdown was yet another reminder that Las Vegas needs to better diversify its employer base and wean itself off casinos and leisure spending, analysts said.

It's about the fact that it's an economy based around a single source of revenue which all happens to be clustered in the small areas of Paradise and Winchester. Entertainment in Paradise and Winchester powers that whole economy in the valley and if that slows down the entire valley slows down. So what I'm saying is that the Vegas Valley is like a mining town but instead of the mine being a mineral, it's entertainment. Everything around that mine exists BECAUSE of the mine and if the mine is not producing product then the whole town is screwed.

That whole area is one big casino plantation...why you think the school district is shyt and there's very little investment in impoverished communities? Because the area exists to facilitate American lust for debauchery...everything else that doesn't further that objective gets left by the wayside.
What’s the housing market like
Been 11 times and have a good friend that lives there. I have fun in doses but I'm always hella ready to leave after a week. I could never see myself living there though... outside of Fremont and the tourist hellscape which is the strip, it feels like one giant white trash strip mall. Plus damn near all the hoes are from out of town so I don't see how you can really get any substantial relationship crackin.
Live in north Las Vegas from 2018 - 2019.
Was suburban bliss for me. I wouldn’t move there if I was single / trying to start a life…. But it was cool for me and the fam.
