Man you ain't lying...if you in East Vegas, North Vegas on an alphabet lettered street, or East Henderson you will be unable to distinguish where you're at from a 3rd world city. What makes it worse is that you will be in one of the most run down looking blocks with dilapidated buildings, empty lots, homeless, trash everywhere and In the background you can see the Stratosphere...it's like the most fukked up shyt I have ever experienced.

im chillin at the town and country on Boulder hwy rn . This shyt funny af, lots of characters

Vegas is an acquired taste to me.

I'll sports bet here and there but, I love going to the firing range and going to Mt.Charleston. Off strip Places like the Tuscany, Ellis Island and Sam's Town are gems. Hood spots like Arizona Charlie's and Silver Sevens, I'll chill at during the football season.

Crime is skyrocketing in Vegas.

North Vegas is about to be surging in the next 5-10 years. All the houses and warehouses being built up there.

What’s different from Nellis and Owens from any hood in other cities? Every metro has rough parts

Like for instance, there are some places in So. Cal where you can get shot, stabbed, beat up but the sidewalk still intact, palm tress lining the street, very very few undeveloped plots of land, gorgeous sunny day with beautiful blue sky…some of my associates from NYC came and saw it for the first time and were shocked like…

“This is y’all hood…this is beautiful”.

It looks nice but the looks are deceiving. In most parts of East and North Vegas I have been in, it’s not deceiving at all…you get off the freeway and see a payday loan, a liquor store, a gas station and after you go a few blocks perpendicular to the freeway it gets very run down.

It just shows how much of a failure Vegas is as a city…and I’m saying this colloquially because The Strip is in Paradise, NV not in Las Vegas but all it really is when you look at the Vegas Valley is The Strip and everything around it is basically just stuff that’s there to help the Strip. It’s like “we need places for our Strip workers to sleep” BUILD HOUSES, “our Strip workers need places to shop” BUILD STORES, and etc. It doesn’t feel like it was built to be a real place to live…it’s like a big ass plantation and The Strip is the Cotton Field and the rest is a big ass slave quarters.

Then you have those rough ass areas where people who maybe got laid off or fired stay and those are the slums. The city rejects them because it’s like “well if you can’t help us out on the strip then you can pretty much die off”. People that move to Vegas fall in typically two categories:

  1. I’m barely making it where I’m at so I’m going to move Vegas where rent is $300 cheaper/month…Ray Ray moved out there 2 years ago and he got a two bedroom with his section 8 voucher.
  2. Im getting to the bag, I got one full bag right now….a house in Vegas costs 100 bags as opposed to where I’m at now where a house is 400 bags…so ima move to Vegas cuz big bank take lil bank.
Group 1 moves into the hood and Group 2 buys a house in MacDonald Ranch, Aliante, GVR, Centennial, Summerlin, etc. Notice how there ain’t a group like “there’s a booming tech sector so I’m moving” like what we see going on in Austin, TX.

Nothing really. Just an incredibly ugly cityscape. Probably not much different from something you might see in Albuquerque or Victorville or some shyt. Barren land plus poverty.

Yup.

Look at this video....I timestamped it to a place called Foremaster Ln but if you skip to the beginning you'll see how horrible it is. Foremaster Ln. looks like the set of The Walking Dead, a lot of places in North Las Vegas look straight up off the set of Mad Max.

New Amsterdam like shyt

This exactly.

It's the desert, and if shyt is left alone for a few years it looks like an abandoned western town.

I've lived in every corner of the valley, and the only problem is druggies, which are everywhere and come in every form.

There's very few, like count on one hand, blocks in Vegas that are "dangerous". I haven't been fukked with since I was like 11 riding the city bus. You might get verbal with a druggie on the strip or downtown but they just bark.

Idk what dude saying about plantation and shyt. It's the same as any other city :stopitslime::mjlol:

They build houses and put stores around them once a certain amount of people habitat that area. Wtf are you talking about :russ:
