So one year he was the best player doesnt mean he was for his career..KG was never good enough to carry a team offneisvely and be the go to guy and win titles like Duncan

So using your stupid fukking logic, Dwight Howard is better than Wilt, Russell, and Kareem.......

He wild to think a man that averaged 30 points a game for his first couple seasons WITHOUT a 3 point line and was at 10+ assists when assists didn't count if they took a dribble after catching the pass wouldn't be eating cats up right now especially considering they called the game more physical back then.

Being more athletic don't mean shyt other than someone's more athletic. They had more skill back then. Having a mid range game meant something unlike now.

After the dust cleared Kobe clearly had the superior career to Tmac too. Doesn't mean those debates weren't happening.

There was FAR more of a debate about Tmac and Kobe than there was about Duncan and KG. The Duncan/KG debate wasn't as big as your trying to make it seem.

C/s the Duncan/KG debates happened but only on a small scale, any educated basketball fan wasn't even going to mention KG next to duncan in anyway

Absolutely

But He's behind

Magic
Bird
Jordan
Kareem
Shaq
Kobe
Duncan
Hakeem
Bill Russell
Wilt
Oscar
West
Dirk
Malone
Barkley
Lebron

My problem with KG is, that he was never an all time dominant playoff performer. Dude averaged 18/10 his first 5 years in postseason, that ain't good enough. Never dropped 40 in a playoff game, I think he's dropped 30 in a playoff game 9 times his whole career and it took him till his 6th or 7th playoff series to score 30.

He won a chip in 08' but he was just solid in that playoffs, and was apart of superteam with Pierce and Allen

Kobe/TMac was more popular of a debate, because they were exciting perimeter players. Two of the more popular players at the time. Duncan was the ole boring big man. He wasn't that popular.
