Y'all act as if dudes are sitting around in their living rooms and a record label shows up and turns them into a star. These are real artists with real music who had to be putting in some kind of work to get noticed by a major label in the first place. Do you like the music or not? What does it matter what exact moment they got signed?

Nah they gonna complain about other unsigned organic artists not getting shine going mainstream but in reality it will just be the next nikka to call that artist a plant Cuz they don't like his music or his fans and so forth and so forth.

And like I said before, I absolutely love that. It shows the power of his music. He didn't need some legendary cosign or radio play. He released a track on the net and it went viral. Maybe we can talk about a label supporting the viral hit. but at least Rocky isn't dikkriding some previous rapper for success.

Rocky got highly visible off one mixtape with no cosigns. Kendrick got highly visible off major rapper cosigns prior to and including the release of Section 80. That's what we're arguing.
