Regardless of what anyone thinks of KAT not "leveling up" in the playoffs, Randle levels down in the playoffs.

He single-handedly destroys team chemistry and offensive flow because he plays far beyond his capabilities, which is amplified in a playoff environment where there's fewer easy scoring opportunities (which is pretty much his entire diet of offense). KAT not showing up is better than Randle showing up - put it like that.

I can't even believe this is a serious conversation that folks are having between the two.

Everyone acknowledges KAT is the better player but were not talking about a top 10 player here....I think KAT gives you alot of Randle esque problems in big games,thats a fair point.

Nah imo KAT on this team will be viewed as the number 2. Yes they can win games off talent. KAT has all stars and all NBAs he can’t play roam around catch and shoot. They need him to get post touches bring the defense to him. He can pass out if they double but his presence is needed as a #2.

Honestly it doesn’t even matter.

Anyone after Brunson can duke it out for 2nd option and seeing as Mikal, OG & Towns all depending on the night can range from 2nd to 4th, it’s perfect.

KAT has an exponentially better shot diet.

The myth of Randle bully ball amounts to taking half a shot more than KAT does in the paint while still not being more efficient.

Randle cannot guard 4s, much less 5s. KAT played some of the best 1on1 defense against Jokic.

Randle is a bigger crybaby, with all-time worse body language

There is not a single thing Randle does better than KAT, and he is MUCH worse in areas than KAT is.

Donte is the real value along with getting rid of KAT's contract

I'd be shocked if Randle is there come play-in time for the Wolves.

The Knicks were 16th in half court offensive rating (98.3). In lineups with Randle on the foor, the Knicks had a halfcourt Offensive Rating of 101.1. Have to imagine this gets them into the top 10 next season with KAT's spacing as opposed to Randle.
