That shyt don’t even matter anymore . KAT has been viewed thru the lens of a #1 option, then a #2 option. And the microscope that comes with that. For this team he can be a 2nd option, but they don’t even need that. He can be not only a 3rd but a FOURTH option, and still help them reach their peak.

When you take high level talented players and ask them to do less, magic happens. Jrue from being the man in New Orleans to elite role player in Boston and Milwaukee. Lamar Odom from the man on the clippers/heat to X factor in LA. Iguodala from star in Philly to deluxe role player in GS. Aaron Gordon from Orlando to Denver Etc etc

Idk if that’s a fair comparison considering Kat will be depended on way more than those guys.

Bridges hasn’t even been a number two option his damn self. Kat is still option 2 on this team imo, it will be interesting to see how he handles the scrutiny.

yo seriously I do NOT like that fit at all. Imagine him waving Ant off for an iso, gets stopped, and then passes it to Stone Hands Rudy for an outlet only for it to go out of bounds.

Nah imo KAT on this team will be viewed as the number 2. Yes they can win games off talent. KAT has all stars and all NBAs he can’t play roam around catch and shoot. They need him to get post touches bring the defense to him. He can pass out if they double but his presence is needed as a #2.

Its not a steal i think Towns is better than Randle but ur essentially trading one guy who doesnt level up in the playoffs for another...

Regardless of what anyone thinks of KAT not "leveling up" in the playoffs, Randle levels down in the playoffs.

He single-handedly destroys team chemistry and offensive flow because he plays far beyond his capabilities, which is amplified in a playoff environment where there's fewer easy scoring opportunities (which is pretty much his entire diet of offense). KAT not showing up is better than Randle showing up - put it like that.

I can't even believe this is a serious conversation that folks are having between the two.
