That and he has admitted that he feels some kind of way about Drake’s talent. He sees someone who can rap/sing + write great songs (that are hits) — and eventually had to grovel to him so he could write for him as well.
Then of course he sees the staying power and wonders “damn how is this happening” when it’s clear that Drake has a combination of things working for him but the talent obviously has to be there.
At one point Kanye was a golden boy and got away with plenty until he took it too far — even if there was truth in what he was trying to point out.
