Harris is also now winning independents, something Biden was not doing. Harris is up 9 points with independents (53%-44%). She was down 14 points with them last month. And in early July, Trump was beating Biden by 4 points with the group.


Harris has also improved with white voters overall. Harris has gone from 40% with white voters overall to 46% in this survey, which is closer to where Biden was, and that’s very high for a Democrat. In fact, no Democrat has scored that high with white voters in a presidential election since Jimmy Carter in 1976. Biden got 41% in 2020, Barack Obama in 2008 won 43%.


That improvement is mostly because of college-educated white women. White voters without degrees, a core Trump base group, are heavily in Trump’s favor and their margin is unchanged. Two-thirds of college-educated white women, though, are now in Harris’ camp, which would be far higher than the percentage that sided with Biden in 2020.

I said it earlier. Trump is basically taking on 2008 Obama on steroids.

Kamala and the entire Democratic Party got the country and social media right now on another level and she's building off of Biden's accomplishments along with hard fought, legit Democratic policies that are bolstering the campaign.

They dumped MAGA on it's head in 3 weeks. 3 weeks is all it took to destroy a 10-year long grift-a-pooloza movement.

As soon as Biden put in his support it got charged all the way up.

Just a monster united Democratic army top-to-bottom.

Then we got Newsom to run 2028-2036 as I think Kamala steps to the side for it as part of the plan. Democrats are seriously showing that teamwork and gameplanning on another level.

Like I said a few weeks ago on day one, it's the start of a new era.

Glad you included this. Harris has the momentum, but Trump snuck into office the first time despite polls and "experts" assuring us that Hillary would landslide him.

Since then, among other things, Roe v. Wade being overturned has reminded people that elections have consequences. So if the Harris momentum translates into historic turnout numbers, maga can be stopped.

Don’t trust polls especially prior to Labor Day. People are not paying attention.

Also a huge swing like that off an announcement is a bump, hard to sustain long term. People are just grateful Biden dropped out.

The percentage of Americans that think we are going in the wrong direction is 80% in July according to Gallop. If that number can tick down some that would be great for Harris.

Conservatives will vote accordingly, but I wouldn't be surprised if some jump ship. The key is the young white men and women that typically align left but it's like pulling to to get them to go out to vote. With all the fukk shyt that the right have been doing(and planning on doing) and Biden dropping out will probably be the incentive they need to go out to vote in November
