what’s up with comments like this?

she’s leading in practically all major top rated polls.

she’s ahead in the majority of swing states, either tied or up within the margin of error in pennsylvania.

she’s a day away from a debate with a man whose most recent public appearances evince substantial cognitive decline.

you might want to step outside and touch grass or something. your sudden pessimism speaks poorly of your mental health.

:francis:

You know those same "top rated" polls had Hilary winning, right?

There’s a big difference between this election and the prior. Trump ran pretty much as a populist, and everyone ate it up while Hilary had a horrible rap sheet. America experienced 4 years of a Trump campaign and shyt is more divided than ever. Not to mention normies (people who don’t pay attention to politics like that) are sick of his behavior i.e. fumbling of Covid, Jan 6. His base will ride for him, but I doubt he is pulling any votes from anywhere else.

Black folks don't care about lower energy costs?

what people really when they say this, is black people weren't singled out specifically. Which doesn't matter if we still benefit. I good on white people having a cheaper electric bill if it also means mine is cheaper as well.

If you couldn't afford to pay your bills before and after that passed you can afford to , you benefited, even if black.

People shouldn't make their lives worse or pass on things that can make their life better while waiting for racism to be solved. just leads to more wealth inequality

Some issues are about quality of life not just racial wealth inequality. If you couldn't afford to pay your bills before and after that passed you can afford, you benefited, even if black.

Although I agree and hope for investment directly going towards Black communities, don't act dumb like the general shyt on that site won't help Black Americans in the long run.
Expecting Black people to be happy at the bottom is unrealistic, and IMO, crazy. Crumbs and BS are our thanks for 60 years of loyalty. This isn;t something to be excited about.

I do not expect anyone to be "happy", we should always demand more and push for more.

I am just stating that the general policies are going to be helpful for Black people in the long run, there is no need to act like it won't to prove a point.

There is no way you gonna sit here and tell me affordable health care is not helping Black families.
