Warner Bros needs to put there fukking money behind the DC animated universe and get these movies bigger budgets and into theaters. Look at the animated Spidey movie, shyt did crazy numbers and won awards - animation is getting more popular
The work is done already just adapt the stories, but the assclown executives cant get out of their own way

DC had the animated market cornered in every sense of the word.
they coulda legit done an animated universe with different series leading up to "crossover events" that they only put in theaters and made a killing.

Identity Crisis movie as a starting point along with a few short TV series to supplement it at the same time
Did TV only special movie for the fallout
Did TV shows (phase 2) for all the stories leading up to Infinite Crisis (it's a lot of stories. but really just 2 years of storylines among maybe 6 books )
Infinite Crisis in theaters
Infinite Crisis fallout TV shows (phase 3, new series)
4 TV Series leading up to Final Crisis
Final Crisis in theaters
That's like 5-10 years, prolly costs the same as a low budget movie overall.
edit: Look how much people rejoiced when Young Justice new season was announced. They got a GOLD MINE under their feet, but can't see it cause they're staring at the competition
