Just finished this and I can't lie, I have EXTREMELY mixed feelings about this one.

Ultimately this story just comes off as kind of cheap.

They violently kill a bunch of characters during the story, go overboard with the whole grimdark thing, all knowing none of it would stick and they were just going to reset the timeline at the end.

Basically, the movie was entertaining but in the end it just leaves you feeling like it was just empty shock value.

They should have done more to hype up The Flash/Darkseid thing so it wouldn’t have came out of the blue. They never really acknowledged what he did except in that Suicide Squad film. At least they could have alluded to Darkseid knowing what he did or even add a scene prior showing him heading towards earth. It all just all seemed rushed and shows the problem of doing individualized films. A lot of the films were just a waste and never really added anything to the overall story.

I think having an extra scene during the credits would have helped a lot with the lead to the new universe or whatever they decide to do. Don’t have the next film make no mention of what The Flash did or how things changed.

At least with the Flashpoint film, they added the scene where he talked with Batman and had some noticeable changes like his new costume.

More shocking that it is the conclusion to the New 52.

We don't even know if Darkseid knows what he did. Constatine could've just meant the butterfly effect shyt.
